Manga Reader - MangaKakalot

I struggled to find an app that got me to download and read the manga offline, so I looked through several apps that could perform this function and was happy to have stumbled upon this application. It looked promising, and I was excited because he had all the manga and manhwa I was looking for. However, the one feature that I was desperately searching for when I relentlessly downloaded a couple of apps was the download feature end reading of off-line pages, so I’ve secondly downloaded one of my favourite manga of 400 MB; however, I’m going to load the pages I still needed an Internet connection to load the already downloaded pages which were in its self frustrating. So what was the point of having a download feature that still requires the Internet to download the pages with that manga?

I wanted to give more but Only giving 2 stars because it only meets the most basic minimum of a manga reader and downloads. Beside that this app over-promised but under-delivered. Especially, when I payed for the VIP service. Despite, all that, the app and service as a whole is constantly having crashes and serious issues with it daily operations. For example - The search engine in the app constantly failing to find the desired results. - The download feature consists crashes and importantly never being able to download and save the first chapter of any manga. Which is a problem which has never been addressed. Which is further made frustrating with extremely slow download speeds. - The reader’s library. Only mange in your library being erased and no longer being able to access it again. Furthermore, currently being read manga pages crashing completely and becoming unusable within the app as a whole. - MANY manga being published with no pages, just blank cover pages. No strict guard rails against such problems, which is recent time only keep increasing in volume. - Most Importantly a complete lack of communication to users of this app ongoing issues or any new of updates to address the ongoing and new issues within the app. Additionally, any issues flagged to the app developers just fall of deaf ears and are ignored. It’s understandable this app is far much much much better than other apps in the market. But it’s constant ongoing issues, which only seem to be increasing in volume. It’s hard to balance the benefits and problems. I 1000% want this app to become bigger, better and more accessible and successful. But it’s very hard to keep that mindset with so many ongoing and growing issues. Fantastic app but the download speeds have absolutely dropped, I have over 100mb down and can barely downloaded 20 chapters

This is probably the best app I’ve ever used on my life

Good app only downside is some manga/manwha not working/loading

To be honest I really like the app and I’ve been using it for a long time. My real dilemma is just the fact that it’s incredibly slow at first I thought it was just my network connection but then I realized it wasn’t. I just wish it could load the chapters quicker.

The second server has the titles but the chapters aren’t completely loaded

Great selection and great features such as downloading only problem is your recently read don’t update when a new chapter comes out so you have to look up what you’re reading to read the new chapter, this is really just annoying and it’s my only problem with the app

I love it and it makes reading all the manga so easy but when you switched titles and fixed some bugs I lost all the manga titles I had bookmarked since it wasn’t letting me access the previous version. Also when I tried to find some of the manga that I bookmarked previously it just isn’t in the app anymore. So in the end I just won’t be able to read some manga I found interesting which is disappointing.

Lost all the manga I was reading in my bookmarks, can’t even look at the previous app to move them over…
