Mantis Laser Academy

Ok so if you have trouble with no laser showing. First make sure the batteries are in right. Mine were in backwards prob to make sure they weren’t drained. It just works and I had fun shooting and enjoying the drills. Great piece of tech.

Great tool to analyze draw, grip and trigger pull.

It’s by far the best pistol range simulation app I’ve ever used. Nothing compares to the Mantis App and the products they have. I highly, highly recommend this product.

I’m fairly new to shooting. I was excited about my training system arriving and now I understand why I was so excited. This is amazing. The team has done a great job putting this together. Wish I would have bought earlier.

I recently purchased the Mantis Laser Academy. I think it’s a great training tool to use at home to practice your skills at home in between range secessions. You definitely save money on ammunition and can still get training reps in. You can track your progress and try different drills. Excellent training tool. Highly recommend. Practice makes perfect. You can use it every day for just a few minutes. It’s great.

I was really excited to get into this app and as all things when it works it works good. I have the travel version of the paper academy and when I traveled brought it with me. Using the tripod is a little frustrating every time. Went to make a minor adjustment the screen either recognizes a hit or the phone moves locking out the buttons. Light settings are extremely sensitive and makes it somewhat annoying to deal with. If o could get the app to work like I have only once or twice I would love it . I hate to say it but the versatility idea is right but the implementation of both hardware and software needs something not sure what that is

Excellent platform to practice AR positions ! Calibration is quick and easy. I have been using for a couple of years and have improved my scores in actual matches! Highly Recommended !

Haven’t open the app in a while, so I’m not sure when they updated it. Very impressed with the new training videos and rank system. I love the fact that you can even earn credits for Mantis products. I don’t have any yet but with the new updates to the app I will add a Mantis X to my training gear soon. Thanks Mantis for improving an already great dry fire training app. 👍🏼

Ever since doing this update the app will not turn targets when turning phone horizontally. The targets are washed out and not detecting most of them now. I have tried it on multiple phones and still the same.

The app looks like it’s great for the MantisX pistol setup, but is very limited for the BlackbeardX rifle setup. For the cost of the app it would be nice if it worked with the Blackbeard system as well and had drills and courses specifically for it. What little of it you can use with the rifle system is fun and challenging. A few small tweaks and it’d be 5 stars!
