Fantastic app to practice Hiragana and Katakana
Very user friendly! Algorithm is brilliant too, always makes you recap any mistakes you make. What I also love about it, is the fact that you cannot move on to the next part until you’ve perfected the previous rows. Overall amazing!
Amazing app. Dont struggle with a book use this. I can't believe my progress. Brilliant!
First time reviewing an app. This app is very fun and clever in the way it teaches. Loved the humour placed throughout. Paid for pro (although I didn’t need it) just to support the developers. A mix of this for learning Hiragana and Dualingo for learning actual sentences (orally, but then you can stitch it up over time yourself) is a very good way to learn foundational Japanese.
After using another app for a few weeks and feeling I wasn't remembering anything! I searched for another app, luckily I found/chose this one as I now use this app at the same time, I enjoy this app more. So I go through the boring routine of the other app first then and then look forward to use this app after as my reward!, it's a bit more challenging but more fun at the same time. I like that you are asked to writes words. I like that you can also tweak the setting, so as I have learnt more I can make it more difficult by increasing the amount of multiple choice answers. Just coming to the end of the first 46 hiragana after about two weeks. Of 1 hour a day.
Having a blast with this app, seems pretty good and shows progress etc. the questions are random too which helps get the brain working . I’ve always wanted to learn Japanese so understanding the letters and hearing someone speaking helps a lot
For learning hiragana and katakana characters they are amazing and I love how new words are taught as you learn more characters. The only criticism of the app is there is no writing component, this is easily solved with another app or your own research but still loved it and helped me so much with actually recognising the characters. PS: I love the phrases the cute red ball (?) says when you open the app or tap on it, it’s so cute!!
this app has really helped me get started learning japanese! i would definitely recommend
Helps you practice reading hiragana and katakana well and you learn some vocab on the way! for a free plan it’s really decent considering you only need to watch an advert if you “lose your lives”. after you pick it up like normal. Pretty fun too. Just have the discipline to take your time to read all the options and say then out loud - it’ll stick.
Perfectly helpful tool to practice Kana alongside other exercises, great settings , nice clean look! Also Maru is adorable 🙂
