That game is one of those examples where publishers develop a great game that starts up as a freemium, where real money is used for a small push or boost, to reach a point where consequent patches make the game utterly unplayable without paying. So my advice would be not to download it and encourage such greedy practices. It's a real shame to break a nice game that had really high promises.
