Too greedy
Fun gameplay but this game is way too heavily monetized. Shame on the company for being so greedy.

Bro, the game says it’s 9+ but once I get in the game, it says are you 14 or over and I’m only 10 and I can’t even play it because the game says I have to be 14 or over this game is terrible
Incredibly predatory monetization, deck based matchmaking against you, rigged RNG, boring events, worthless $99 bundles EVERYWHERE, devs mocking players
Expect to spend $300-1000 to be competitive
This game used to be playable. Now every 10 minutes or so it’s just constant crashing. Send a report and talk to someone and they want proof. So they want you constantly recording your screen to show proof of the game crashing. Multiple people are having this same issue.
Marvel snap can be pretty fun but I’ve found with every update the game just gets worse if I’m being honest but it’s not too bad of a casual play game. I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone now but maybe if they changed the game back to the way it was before.
Bunch of bugs on iOS that never gets fixed. Visual doesn’t display properly. Game crashes from time to time. Thor deck is pretty much useless, now that Thor and Beta Ray draw chances are so low. You’ll never draw them together. And if you do, you’ll never be able to build them up to be able to compete with other stronger decks now. Because all your other support cards will be drawing a messed up pattern. As you climb, getting better cards to be able to compete will slow to a crawl. Once you go get a nice card, they de-buff its power. And the chances that you’ll get cards that can build a working deck gets lower and lower as you progress through. Feels like it is slowly turning into a pay to win game.
The game is easy and fun to play. Short games and easy to quit. But the monetizing system is probably the worst ive seen in a game. And ive played thousand of games. Either the team is extremely greedy, or they are overpaying employees…and have bad margins. Lets be honest…. The are likely simply greedy people
Great for new players because you’re always unlocking new cards and the game will always feel fresh. Once you past the free unlocked cards “series 3”. The game becomes completely pay to win, it’s almost impossible to get more than one spotlight key a week which allows you to get new cards or garbage. 90% of the time you spend your key, you get a trash variant or a duplicate for a garbage amount of tokens. So basically you need so spend money to get more keys, so you can get the new card finally, and actually stay up to date with the new meta decks that drop every week. Which is actually a horrible system when you use it for years.
The game itself is fun. The game glitches out constantly, takes forever open , crashes more with every update and going from the main screen to other pages just takes way longer than it should.
