I purchased the dual camera drive recorder (T99Q6-5VG0B) and had it installed at the same Infiniti dealership where I purchased my 2024 Infiniti QX60 on June 14, 2024. I downloaded the app and have attempted to initiate service using the device ID and security key located on the camera, but I keep getting an error message stating “incorrect device ID or security key” every time I enter the information. I took a picture of the device ID and security key to ensure I wrote down the correct information. There was no information on how to contact customer service located on any of the instructions and after searching through the service agreement, I found an email address to reach out regarding the issue I’m having only to get a response “sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address”. After spending $1,192.18 to purchase and have the camera installed, I’m not at all impressed with support in being able to actually use the camera. I thought using an authorized Infiniti/Nissan device would be the best decision, but I’ve been proven wrong.

Spent a lot of money on this camera from Infiniti along w labor costs. Never worked, can’t use any other features of my car while the camera is connected to wifi. Infiniti didn’t even know how it operated, waiting to see if I can get my money back. Can’t get the subscription to work. Horrible product
Do Not Waste Your $
Rather than connecting to your phone via Bluetooth, you have to connect via WiFi, BUT… you have to turn your cellular data off to do that. Who wants to drive with their cellular data off. You CANNOT connect to the Cloud via your vehicles hotspot. This app is base and Nissan doesn’t care it’s reputation is being affected by this lame application. Do not purchase!!!!!
Camera or app does not work
If I can go back to when I purchased the Mdrive Camera, I would not have even wasted my time effort or money. To sign up in the app for services for your camera is horrible, there is no clear instructions on how to get your camera paired properly to work so in my opinion and many others that I have viewed as far as comments and concerns, not only is this app cramp but so is the Mdrive camera. This whole thing is designed to again rip off the consumer and it’s a shame.
No cloud access
The instructions have buttons described in the apps that does not exist. I’ve not been able to connect to the cloud at all. It takes a significant amount of time to download to the phone. I did call to see if the recorder is able to connect to the cloud any longer or this has been discontinued, they did not know, there are no instructions in the instructions that are online do not describe what is in the app
Help?
I’ve had this app since March and I still can’t access anything. This is so complicated and nobody at Nissan knows how to use it. Why are they promoting this without having knowledge about the product? I bought and paid for this dash cam to be installed in my car and so far no luck! I would appreciate it you could provide some help with the people buying your products!
App doesn’t work well
I can only connect directly to the recorder. When I try to connect to the cloud, I get an error message that says my device ID or security key is incorrect. Nissan should have tested this before selling it to their customers. Also tried to reach to them and they just referred me to the dealership.
Trash
Installed it on my 2023 Infiniti QX60. It worked well for the first week and all of a sudden the parking mode stopped working! I cant rely on this dashcam! This Software is glitchy, the camera ofter reset the settings, connecting to cloud is not easy at all. I could live with it if it was working properly, not sure if my Camera is defective, or its the software. Park mode works sometimes, like 1 in 10 times. I reset the camera to factory settings and its still not working, only when the car is on it works! There is no support link or phone to call?! Most dealera dont know how to operate it. Not sure where to go? Best thing to return it!
