Company doesn’t care
I have had nothing but issues with the Meater block. Not sure if it’s because it’s the old version. I’ve had to call support almost every time I had to use it. They don’t seem to care about their consumers or making things right. Connectivity issues, it constantly turns off, batteries don’t last. I really wanted to update from ThermoPro’s TempSpike. I BBQ as a side business and do not recommend the Meater Block. Maybe the Meater Pro XL has worked out all the bugs but I don’t know.
Beginning to be not worth the trouble
Always have connection problems and the cook times are always off….way off! I begin to not trust its temp readings and feel I have to double check it with another temp gauge.
Always dine right
We’ve been using the Meater Plus with the app for a few years and the app gives the time to take the meat off the grill at the perfect time to be at the chosen doneness
Fantastic Device
I have used this twice this week to prepare roasts for holiday meals. 1) a filet mignon roast, 8 lbs. 2) a center cut pork loin on the bone. They were both beyond perfect and the preparation was effortless. The Meater device is fantastic!
Unreliable tech
A device you simply can’t count on for a cook. Each time I try to use it there is a 50% chance it will connect. Great idea but horrible execution.
A MUST HAVE
Doesn’t matter if you use a stove or grill… this is a must have.
Connection lost
It won’t stay connected. It comes out of the charger telling me it needs to charge. It’s absolutely worthless.

They won’t connect. They are useless
Abysmal WiFi set up
Second Meaterblock. XL connects to WiFi but app doesn’t connect using WiFi. Help is useless as it is written for when device works not when it doesn’t. 10 minute wait for chat. Should work out of box but doesn’t
