You are a medieval knight, serving your king as a mercenary. Impressed by your victorious battles and leadership skills, the king offers you a chance of a lifetime - sail on a crusader ship to a new island and start a settlement there.
You will be in charge of both the settlement’s military and economy. Your goal is to build up the crusader settlement, profit from trade and farming, and then use the income to improve your army and defenses. Strong walls manned by archers and ballistas will help you withstand constant enemy attacks. To defend your settlement, you will need to train your army, upgrade equipment, and research new unit types to grow your empire.
Then, once your economy is up and running and your crusader army grows in size and power, it’s time to go on the offensive and start expanding your stronghold. Attack enemy outposts, conquer their walls, and turn them into a new source of income for your growing colony and warrior empire.

Welcome, future king! Your first task is to build up your small village on the coast of an unexplored island. Starting with just a simple wooden fence and a modest fort, you need to grow your defences and train your crusader soldiers to be able to defend yourself against endless waves of enemies.
To be able to withstand constant enemy attacks, you will have to:
• Train your soldiers from simple peasants to experienced warriors
• Build up defences and strenghten your stronghold's walls
• Place skilled archers and terrifying ballistas on your walls
• Use your blacksmith to get better swords and armors
• Craft more powerful bows and sharper arrows
• Clash for survival against hordes of powerful enemies
• Defeat epic bosses who will try to destroy your village
As your power grows, you will soon have the opportunity to take the initiative from your enemies and go on the offensive. Start conquering small neighbouring outposts - take them, build up their economy, and start earning passive idle income even when offline!
Together with trading ships, skilled merchants, farmers, and profits from repelled enemies, you will soon be able to build up even better defences, expand your network of money-making outposts, earn more money farming valuable crops, and conquer and unite the whole island under your just rule.
Medieval: Defense & Conquest features:
• 70+ enemy unit types with unique stats and skills
• Boss levels with giant enemies
• 40+ enemy outposts to conquer and develop your economy
• Beautiful pixel art game map and characters
• Idle income and trade progress works even when you are offline
• Your own village, trading ship, merchants, blacksmith, farm
• Upgradable soldiers, knights, archers, and fast horsemen at your service
• Walls which can grow from simple wooden fence to a massive stone castle wall
• Archers who can be placed on your walls to improve passive defence
• Ballistas to boost your defensive efforts
• Merchants and trading ships as source of income
• Bank which automates collecting gold from your outpost colonies
• Skilled blacksmith to improve your gear, armor, swords, and sharper arrows
• ...and more fun stuff being added with each future update!

some bugs, but still good game

zanysloth on

game is some good simple fun, but i’ve noticed a couple bugs that make it a little worse. the biggest one is that the trading post doesn’t have anything to collect after starting a long 1hr or 8hr sell to make some gold, and it doesn’t make any

Gameplay, Lvling, and Combat are Solid

Overall a great game. Straight forward but complex enough to get you hooked. Build swordsman, archers, and horsemen. Fight waves of enemies. Make money. Build things to make money. No in-app purchases but there are options if you choose to do that. My one complaint, and this might be a bug, I’ll send my ship out for an hour or 8 hours and check back later only to find it never went? Or it did go, and I didn’t get my currency. Same thing happens with farming. I’ll plant crops only to come back later and find that nothing happened. I hope this gets fixed as this is a major part of making gold.

Really good

I think the game is really good and I like the idea of the game but there is one flaw it’s the in game purchases, I feel they are really pushing you to buy gems because the only way to get them is by spending *500,000* gold to get a small amount of gems or to buy them. personally, I think that there should be a mine for gems and there is wolves in the mine so it is hard to get the gems and you will only get about 10 gems when the collection process is done.

It's fine.

I'm happy to see a solo developer put their work out there and paid the 3.99 to remove ads. The game is interesting for the first but but then goes nowhere. I was quite disappointed to start the 3rd island and discover nothing different, aside from some visuals. Also, the Bank doesn't do a good job of tracking your offline time, meaning a lot of the time it returns nothing. If it doesn't receives any updates, I can't really recommend this to anyone.

Great for a bit

It’s a great game, fun concept for sure. But once you figure out the best strategy, you can blow through an island in a couple days without buying anything. Just wish there was more to spend money on or to upgrade, because you can complete ever island without buying blacksmith upgrades or castle upgrades. Look forward to seeing if they add more.

Hard to find

Great game but

I high key love this game on

I love this game I think the pacing is really great but I wish there wasn’t so many ads

Solid game. Respectful advertising.

I’ve had this game for over a month now. It’s definitely a solid game for playing against waves of enemies with your own upgradable armies. Though it can be as simple or complicated as you wish it to be. In reality there’s not too much needed to progress through the storyline. Which makes it appealing to younger audiences who may desire this style of game (or adults trying to encourage this genre onto the children in their lives). But it still allows for certain styles or flair to combat and general gameplay. Pros and cons: it’s a solid game with decent graphics and scratches that medieval combat itch when I’m away from my cpu. It is engaging with different ways to earn gold and a generous way to earn diamonds (in game purchasable currency) that’s directly tied to game progress. And one part that sets this company apart from others is their choice of ad placement. All of the ads are optional except when defending the waves of attackers for gold. Every three to five waves has an advertisement. The rest of them are optional with worthwhile rewards for watching them. The cons are that it can be overly simple with gameplay after the first island (maybe allow access to different troop types that we see from the enemy side? Or use archer and ballista mechanics for the enemy side to increase difficulty? Would love to see more freedom of creativity from the devs) the graphics and troop movement could be better polished and updated (not a big deal personally. But when enemy troops walk over their wall when defending an attack it’s not the best for imersion) other than that I’m looking forward to continuing to play this game. Thank you devs for the hard work you’ve put in already and I hope that y’all get the opportunity to update the game and expand upon it

Cool but boring

FlameEpidemic on

Qell its a cool concept but very boring game. Need some other goals, people to fight, storyline or minigames or something. Also the ads to get extra money dont work. Also can you fix the retreat button to ask if youre sure? My cat stepped on retreat after i paid 6.5k on some soldiers for the stone mine now i have to work to get it back again but honestly id rather wait 8 hours for the plants to grow than actually play the game…
