CREATIVE CONTROL
Music-making can be intimidating. Medly makes it easy by breaking songs down into Sections. You can add notes, audio samples, and loops to your Sections, then copy, paste and rearrange them to build your song. At any time, use the History tool to quickly rewind and undo your changes.

From simply adding a note to complex multi-note editing, each interaction was carefully designed with touch in mind. And with over 300 instruments available to Members, you can quickly try out different sounds and find your style.
AMPLIFIED AUDIO
Edit, snap, and trim your audio clips to your liking. Record or import audio, or use a sample from Medly’s vast audio library. You can record audio up to 4 bars or become a Member and record and import audio up to 30 seconds. As a Member, bring your songs to the next level with professionally recorded vocals by Medly’s talented artists.
POINT PERFECT AUTOMATION
Automatically change volume, echo, and other effects to add fades and pitch bends to your sounds. Snap between points and beats to achieve point perfect precision and use the selection tool to edit multiple automation points together. Then open the effect picker to quickly see the automation graphs of all effects within a Section.
SHARE AND PLAY
Quickly upload your songs to SoundCloud, or share it as a video, audio, MIDI, or Medly file. You can also connect Medly to other apps using Inter-App Audio or play in time using Ableton Link.

Enkelt og greit. Litt lite utvalg instrumenter om man ikke er medlem, men konseptet og oppsettet er veldig enkelt å forstå og supert som en førstegangsskisse av et prosjekt.
My dudes, this is it.
This is a g r e a t app. It’s super duper neat. It’s super user friendly, beautiful to look at and work with and i think the features are super logically placed, so it’s pretty easy to get going. You don’t even have to know a shred of music theory or any kind of instruments, it’s so easy and neat. I use it to write simple melodies om the bus home from work, i can whip up a quick backing track whenever i need. Pretty huge library of sounds. Subscription is needed for more than a small pack of sounds, but fair price(the starter pack is actually pretty good). Do yourself a favour. Go for it. And by the way, i saw some of the other reviews, and take this app for what it is. People complain about not(currently)having midi out and maybe not the widest range of "genres", i like the simplicity of it. There’s other programs for more techy stuff ;) it’s alot of g o o d sounds. I saw some guys thinking it’s a bit pricey. It’s not. It’s hard work.
Not working
Had to get an subscription just to realize its not even able to get my files downloaded. Not good enough.
Im dissapointed.
Was very exited for a new uptade, but seeing that i have to buy more things just to acces new content? I did get the expansion packs, including master, but i wont be able to use any new sounds in my songs? Plus the fact that there will be new content way more often now. Im going to miss out on a lot...

The best editor, but
It misses midi out. Edit: i will give it 5, when it supports midi out 😉. I don’t use it as it is now. Although it’s great at what it does, it needs midi out to be of any use in my studio.
Actually the best music app ever
I've used GarageBand and Soundation before but after Medly started working with SoundCloud, the app got so much better! It's easy to use and incredibly fun! 1000/10 stars for you guys👍👍👍👍👍
