The app is great but there is a serious password big which needs to be fixed. Everybody is able to go to the security settings an change to a new password without being asked the old password first, and then acces any password protected file by using the new password which they set. So there is no real use in protecting a file by password when everybody is able to change it. This problem exists since ever.

Vor allem gut für "creative-notes", incl. Tonschnipsel, Fotos - und praktisch dass man es mit PW schützen kann... Synct mit allen möglichen Dienste usw.

Ein echt nahezu perfekter Ersatz für die Apple Notizen App. Das arbeiten damit ist echt klasse, ebenso die Möglichkeiten. 3 technische Dinge vermisse ich: 1. Import aus oder noch besser Sync (dann erübrigt sich Punkt 2.) mit der Apple Notizen App 2. Eine echte realtime Syncfunction. Das eingebaute Handling mittels Export und Import ist umständlich, wenn man nur sein iPhone und sein iPad synchron halten will. 3. Drucken Funktion fehlt. Edit: Geht doch, über Export Other Apps kommt der iOS Dialog über den man auchdrucken kann. In English: Nearly perfect Notes App, as replacement for the original Apple Notes App. Possibilites and usabilty is great. 3 technical things i am missing: 1. Import from or better sync (with sync, option 2. is not needed) with the Apple Notes App. 2. Realtime sync function. The current Export/Import handling is not good usability just holding same data on an iPhone and an iPad. 3. Printing is not possible. Edit: It works, i was wrong! Use export other apps, iOS dialog is coming up with print possibility.

This app is the only app that has all the functions I need in a note app EXCEPT for the following: when you import a picture in a note it is not possible to see it in full size, only a square shaped cutout of it. Please, please fix that!!

Tippen, Skizzen machen/Textmarker, Fotos einbinden, Ton mitschneiden. Alles dabei, intuitiv zu bedienen und ohne zu viel Schnickschnack. Jetzt können endlich Sektionen im Text verschoben werden, sodass Fotos etc. nicht immer nur ans Ende angehängt werden. Leider noch kein richtiges iCloud-Sync, sondern nur für Backups (trotzdem 5*, weil es wenig vergleichbares für iPhone und iPad gibt...). Um iPhone und iPad sychron zu halten, muss man sich aktuell die Dokumente zumailen. Der Export/Mail als PDF funktionieren ebenfalls sehr gut.

What is the reason for not including a sync function? @Developers: Please add sync via iCloud or dropbox to sync between iPad and iPhone apps

Hey entwickler und alle die das lesen... Wie kann man da Musik einfügen so wie bei dem beispiel. Könnt ihr helfen ...:) Gruß notizzeichnerin:D

Die Kombination der einzubindenden Medien macht Mental Note zu einem Tool, dass Spaß macht und oft nützlich ist. Es gibt aber auch einige "Abers": - Der Zeichenstift macht nur hakelige Linien, die Skizzen sind grottoid. Liebe Entwickler, bitte an der Glättung der Linien arbeiten, vielleicht auch Dicke der Linien sensitiv machen (unterschiedliche Strichstärke je nach Geschwindigkeit des Zuges o.ä.)... Ich möchte mit dem Finger auch handschriftliche Notizen machen können (die man auch lesen kann) - Schön wäre die Einbindung von Videos aus der Kamera, mit Vorschaubild für die Voransicht und für den Ausdruck - Die Reiter sind häßlich und unübersichtlich. Liebe Entwickler, gibt es nichrt eine haptischere Umsetzung? Vielleicht ein Zettelkasten, durch den man mit dem Finger "durchflippen" kann wie in einer Registerschublade? Das Tagging ist jedenfalls mühselig. Bitte etwas am Userinterface basteln! Darf ich mich aufs nächste Update freuen?

I generally dread customer service experiences but my recent experience was quite different. The customer service rep was totally user friendly, stuck with me through several email exchanges well into the evening. Needless to say they ultimately uncovered and fixed the issue, after getting a little bit more information from me.
