Great for travelling, okay at home

The Trip Forecast feature is great. Unfortunately the data for Australia is lacking and imprecise compared to other apps. Needs better data sources like the BOM to be useful at home.

Subscription Problem

I was charged for an annual subscription for my iPad even though I had a lifetime subscription for my iPhone. I have cancelled my subscriptions and deleted the app from both devices.

Great interface, but…

Great interface however these two issues would stop me recommending: doesn’t remember multiple locations after adding & widgets on Home Screen display a blank window.

Premium features aren’t available when subscribed

I paid for the premium features (widgets, multiple locations etc), but the features do not come available. I’ve force quit the app and restarted to no avail.

minimal and beautiful

love the colours, design and feel of the app and the fun and minimal interface. only thing that needs improvement is the uv index. i live australia which usually has very high uv. but for example today it showed zero uv in the morning, or max 6 when it was 11.2.

Great weather app from great developers

I love the look & feel of this weather app: easy on the eye app, simple design that provides exactly what I need when it comes to weather information (a rain radar map is all that’s missing). I also like the app’s privacy: it is one of those rare beasts that truly respect the user and don’t collect their data. At all. Yet another great app from a pair of developers that truly care about their users.

Looks nice, but….

not accurate AT ALL for NZ, AU etc. These paid weather apps really need to stop selling in markets where their data is not accurate or available. A lot of the time people are swayed by “reviews” of US based influencers, but there is no mention in the app details that the data is not applicable to many regions.

Featured features require subscription

Almost all the app features shown in the previews require the premium subscription. I have zero problems with developers asking for money for their time. I’ve paid for plenty. But promoting an app with features either on screenshots or listed in the description with no mention of the Pro requirement is dishonest. Just use the new Apple weather app, has more detail than this, works in iPad, and no sneaky subscription.
