This was right up my alley after playing The Room series & all the Glitch games. Well put together, love the spooky theme and relaxing music & sound effects. Looking forward to more from these creators.

Challenging!

I play games like this to be challenged. That said, I had to use the hints a few times and sometimes they were helpful and sometimes they were useless. The puzzles didn’t have directions and the graphics were often too dark to see everything. I had to google a walkthrough to solve 2 of the puzzles. However, I’m about to download the next game in the series because there’s something about it that makes me want to keep going.

Love it!

For maximum helpfulness of this review here are my notes on this game. Pros: This game has a LOT going on. The puzzles are awesome and really satisfy to figure out. It is child friendly (up to chapter 3 because there’s some creepy hospital rooms with ancient blood but nowadays no kid cares anymore 🙄) and the art is amazing. The puzzles make sense, at times it’s quite terrifying and at times quite funny. The whole multi- chapter game is quite a good use of 3 or 4 days- (if you’re a good puzzle solver- and I love escape games). Lol! Cons: SPOILER ALERT: Sad ending for David Zander. Poor guy never returns home to his extremely tiny house (with no bathroom, I noticed. Maybe he has another house in the back.) Anyway the ending frustrated me for awhile but I have replayed this game 30,000 times because it never gets old:) Also like I said the story is awesome but has some plot holes. Who exactly are the shadow people? And why the heck is there a photo of my boat later on in the game? Omg! The playing of this is awesome and I don’t personally have a lot of cons. This is probably good for maybe 10+ at least if said child has plenty of patience. Notes: The prologue is pretty easy on hard mode. Hard mode basically means no hints and it won’t help with puzzles. I would greatly advise turning on normal mode on at least chapter 1, 2 and 3 as there are a few puzzles that are so hard to solve, and there is a chapter 1 puzzle with an oil barrel (no mental work; you’re messing with pipe things) that multiple times makes it tough to progress in the game. Even if you don’t want to use hints, you can put it on normal just in case you need it and then you won’t have to restart if something goes wrong, which is awful! To the developers: Please make more games like this! I heard about another game by y’all called Aurora Hills and it looks amazing, can’t wait to try! Also it would be awesome if you could get it more 3d so you can move the screen around to see clearer. :) Hope this was helpful! Thank you Novasoft for making such a great game!! :D
