Abound - 3D Scanner

Je n’ai pas LiDAR sur mon IPhone mais le mode photo marche très bien. Gratuit, sans pub ,l’exportations marche bien , illimité ♾️ 👍🏻

Unsure if the app is checking device strings when it should be checking available features instead, but my new iPhone 15 Pro Max can’t use the LIDAR feature to scan.

Tried reality scan and struggled for hours uploading to align, then to mesh, then to Sketchfab only to get a model to large to view. Someone suggested this app and in ten minutes I got a better scan with a third the shots that I could export directly to Blender as gltf. No contest, this app is incredible and is the best photogrammetry app for iPad. If there were six stars I’d give them. Recommended

I have tried to scan with different apps but I have not been successful.😭 But when I discovered Metascan the results were much more than I expected with my iPhone X 😆👍🏽 The result was excellent as a beginner. Congratulations and thanks for thinking of users who do not have as much technology and experience. 👏🏽👍🏽🍾

It says I can use LiDAR with a iPad Pro, but when I try it, it says that it’s incompatible with my device (iPad Pro 2nd Gen)

Pretty simple and the UI is fairly straightforward. Could do with some more help on what each setting does but the free tier really makes this a no brainer

This app allows you to capture items in your world and makes the 3D which you can share, download, and upload into a virtual world. It can be used to capture memories while on holidays, record interesting finds, or share a piece of furniture with someone before you buy it. If you love photogrammetry you need this app. It’s nearest competitor is PhotoCatch but I think this one has an edge due to its subscription model. However, this app has the potential to be awesome if it introduced the ability to also upload photos from outside the app and to use videos like PhotoCatch. Overall this app is definitely five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The unique feature of Forge 3D scanning is the multiple perspective view, you can have top ortographic floorplan camera view or ultrawide view while scanning to quickly map the area. Totally love the idea and makes scanning as fun as playing game.

Have their subscription works very well we use it for documenting dimensions on job sites. Upgraded to a new phone and hope that it gets updated for compatibility. Messaged developer and was told that the update was coming out soon and it has been fixed. Thank you.

Don’t buy if you have a new iPhone 16 model. On my iPhone 16 Pro Max it uses the telephoto lens and lidar isn’t found either, so it is completely unusable. On my old phone it worked fine, however I have a subscription that I pay for and now can’t use it anymore. I sent an email to the developer a month ago, but didn’t get any response. They need to update the software asap.
