Description

Mi LUMA is LUMA Energy’s new customer app. You can register with a residential or commercial account, the last 4 digits of the social security or employer identification number on the account, and a valid email. However, if you already registered for Mi LUMA web, our online customer portal, there is no need to register again in the app, you can use the same username and password to sign in.

After your first sign in using your username and password, you can choose to use Face Unlock, your fingerprint, PIN or keyboard pattern for future sign-ins, making signing into Mi LUMA easy and quick.

Once signed in, you will see the Dashboard with the current balance of the electric service account your registered. With a single tap, view the Account screen, with all your current account information, including the total amount due and payment due date. View and download your current bill in PDF format. Pay your bill using either a credit card or a bank account. Payments made through Mi LUMA app are credited the same day.

The Mi LUMA app also provides a 12-month history of bills and payments, outage viewing and reporting capabilities, and an extensive set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help you in the transition to LUMA Energy. Simply download the free app and begin enjoying the convenience of doing all of this from anywhere 24x7.

It works simply, in other words, if you don't want to pay, we're going to charge you anyway...because if you press the pay button and leave the option for just a moment, you can no longer pay, and you have to try again, in practical terms, another day when you remember...moreover, it doesn't have options for automatic payments...it has a cool option to see which towns are out of service, but I don't find it practical; since if the power goes out in my house, I'm going to realize it immediately, I don't have to open the app to check 🫤 because it will be obvious to see the neighborhood without power...they should focus the app on more essential and practical things..."

Con los millones que tienen no hace sentido que no te permitan remover cuentas cerradas del perfil. Tenia mas de una cuenta con ellos. Hace mas de dos años cerré una y me dicen que no se puede remover. Absurdo. Sin contar el mal servicio que proveen de electricidad.

Do the app is as reliable as the power in the Island. This app work intermittent, I do not know if the app outages competes with the power outages but neither is reliable. Every time I have to pay my bill it does not allow me to access the app or the webpage, then my payment register late by a day or 2 an it’s frustrating. I wish I could give this Company as a whole a -0 star because is garbage!!! Horrible service overall, from service in general, call center, and app. Also, I’m writing this in English i hopes someone reads it, because I doubt people in charged of this company is fluent in Spanish! You want my money? Fix the app so I can pay you!!!!

Fraudulent and Scams Energy company

0 stars! Trash company, trash customer service, trash energy provider. I am two weeks of the month with out Luma and they charge you a ridiculous amount of consumption like 5 people live with you. Calling since April 2022 objecting my bill. They keep telling you to reply emails they sent you and doing things in a circle until you get tire of complaining and at the end they cut your electricity and that’s it. After calling to complain about my consumption that was like 40kwh or more a day ( that is the consumption of a family of 5). I pay an investigation that they concluded that the meter is good they say the readings are regular and progressive and I ask them what that tells you because telling that the meter is good just because they see it on the system remotely that is the same system that the meter send the consumption report, obviously the number of consumption will be the same. First scam! November 2023, 7 MONTH LATER! I end up arguing with the costumer services because of the inaction and the high electricity bill. Serrano was the last name if I’m not wrong that tell me to get another Energy provider if I don’t want to use LUMA BUT LUMA IS THE ONLY ENERGY PROVIDER IN PUERTO RICO and I follow her advice and went solar. Same equipment in that house since January 2022 and costumer service, all of them, are trained to say the same thing all over again! And do the impossible so you can’t talk to a supervisor. They can’t do nothing they just offer you a payment plan and bring up things like you consume more because usually people consume more on may, June and July because they are more in their houses and use pools or jacuzzi! They try to justify without any proof of your consumption that back up the reading of the meter, they want you to pay whatever the meter tells them no matter what proof you have that you aren’t able to consume all that amount of energy! On December 2022 SUNRUN install my solar panels according to the analysis of energy I consume in year 2022 and on January 2023 my bill was 30 dollars February 50 dollars and since then it go up. I call again because the bill was getting in 150$ and the excuse they tell was that I’m consuming a lot because I don’t have the new meter that can read the energy that my solar panel send them. I get 30 dollars right after they install the solar panels and then out of nowhere the bills begin to go up exponentially. May 2023 they install the new meter and the bill came next month of 180$ I call ag

Please make this app better. It looks like it’s been design by a 5 years old. You’re getting billions of dollars from Puertoricans. The electricity service is awfully bad. At least give us a decent app

El área de interrupciones debe tener una gráfica que te diga cuántas veces se te va la luz por semana, mes y año. También debe estar acompañada de el tiempo promedio que fueron dichas interrupciones. Dé igual forma debe haber un sistema de recompensas dependiendo de el tiempo y o veces que se fue la luz en el mes.
