Microsoft To Do Reviews

Used to love it

Estiedi on

We used to love Wunderlist, before it was bought by Microsoft and rebranded. As usual, Microsoft made a mess of it and now it crashes all the time. Time to find an alternative.

More kanban

ol___r on

I’m doing the getting things done method from David Allen where one needs to move the tasks around to different boxes. It would be helpful to be able to move the tasks easier from one list to another and view the lists next to each other, like columns in a Kanban board. For this reason I moved to Trello now, which gives me that, but which is not so good with repeated tasks. If you could give me that view and the possibility to move the tasks, also per automation, as in “If a tasks becomes due it automatically moves to the ‘Urgent’ board.”

My daily task manager with some issues

Noctalin on

Luxembourg

I use Microsofts To Do app on daily basis to get my stuff done and love it. Although I do get some not breaking but annoying issues. If the app was open in background for a long time (can’t say how long I haven’t measured it) it won’t allow me to tap the task in my list to edit it, nothing happens until I restart the application. Another rather annoying issue is the suggestion feature on the today list which works sometimes fine and sometimes it suggests me tasks that are already on the today list due to a due date set on them to next day and so if I open up the suggestion list on the next day I see the task again. Clicking it will also make it disappear from the today list of instead not even showing it. Also another issue which is a visual problem, the list in the suggestion sometimes has dimension problems with the list items which are overlapping after pressing the “more” button multiple times. The list might sometimes even crash and disappear. If you could look into this if other people might have this issues too. I think this app deserves a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for these annoying bugs.

adding notes

Luxembourg

it is easy to add a task but not to add notes. first the task must be closed and then opened again to be able to add notes. this is not very efficiënt.

Works 50%

grousst on

Luxembourg

Reminders for repeating tasks work only for 50%. I would have missed already a lot of tasks if I didn't opened the app...

Très pratique!

Cool avec le multi écrans

Works really bad with shared lists

ebo22365 on

Luxembourg

Changed from Wunderlist, mostly for shared family to do lists. It doesnt work at all:list added by one not visible by others, list not updating to other users, deleted lists show still active for others.I am looking for enhancements, if not improving,we need to look for other alternatives....

Rendez-nous Wunderlist!

foupsie on

Luxembourg

More filtering would be useful

mergycka on

Luxembourg

Should be more filtering options, for example currenly I chose filter by completion so I can see open items on top and completed below, however would be good to see it in alphabetic order that everytime when I want to untick completed item I dont need to look for it for few minutes

All i needed

Sam.abdi on

Luxembourg

Solved the problem! The app include all i need and the design is very user friendly. Since its free app, i decided to write this positive review. Thanks!
