This app is not only beautiful but feature rich. - Play order/sort can be set per podcast not globally, love this - CarPlay, love this - Custom them colours, love this - Auto downloads, love this - Available on all my devices, love this I would be lost without this app
I've recently given this app a go and have been impressed. A key requirement for me is to be able to store my podcast library on an external drive which Mimir allows. Simple interface and it's pretty snappy. Only issue i have found is sometimes it is causing my mac to lock up. I think this might be becuase of having my library on an external drive but I've not been able to pin point it yet.
The app is great and is sorely needed in an overlooked market - good MacOS podcast apps are almost non existant. There are 2 things which it needs that will mke it unbeatable: 1 - Mini Player!!! - please add this feature. No one wants to keep a whole app window open constantly in the background and have to switch to it just to see what is playing. If you add an option for a mini player like iTunes had with the artwork of the currently playing podcast and episode name it would be amazing and will make your app one of a kind. The users can move it in a corner of the screen and always see whats playing. Even Apple foolishly removed this option from the podcasts app and now people are forced to use old versions of iTunes just to bring it back. 2 - please fix the process for creating folders with podcasts in them. As it stands the folders can be created but users can't drag and drop podcasts if they are too far down the list on the left. Also when right clicking on a podcast there is no option to add it to a created folder. Other than these two things the app seems to work well and has great options. Hope it improves and doesn't get abandoned.
