This app truly was a genius invention. Love how it brings members of the LGBT community from all over the world together. ☺️

Gave up in the end and used alternate accomodation sites. It’s messy, it’s laggy and the options for accomodation aren’t great either.

Get on it

This hotel does not look like the pictures at all. Smoking is allowed inside, so the whole hotel smelt like cigarette smoke, including my room. The room I got was not the one I booked in the photo. Reception definitely did not give gay friendly vibes. Would not recommend staying here, not sure who gave it a rating to say it was LGTBQ+ friendly because it’s not giving that at all. I ended up checking out early because I didn’t like the place. Honestly, you’re better of booking Airbnb’s in Turkiye, as hotels in Turkiye require you to register your guests, which is annoying and invasive.

As a gay man, I’ve always wanted to connect with other gay men when I’m travelling around the world and this app is perfect, all my hosts have been wonderful and have shown me so much of gay culture, definitely more than if I did it by myself. I’ve made great friends with benefits through here so thank you.

You can’t seem to sort search results by price - this is a basic feature …

So they list a lot of gay homestay places - most of which don’t even bother to answer - so they have auto generated notices to bait and switch you to hetero hotels. Another business cashing in on gays.

Ken is an amazing host. He made me feel very welcome in his apartment and shared a lot info before my arrival and during my stay. I loved my chats with Ken and our morning tea. Great place to stay. Near the tram line and buses. Easy to go everywhere from his place. Highly recommended.
