It was my first time using Misterb&b and it was a delightful process from start to finish
Host is vulnerable to revenge reviews and platform support doesn’t do anything
I got a bad review from a host that my partner and I wouldn’t fall for his sexual and out of place comments. When sending proof (screenshots of conversations both in text and platform, even offered security camera videos) that demonstrated that what the host stated on his review wasn’t true, the platform said that it was his point of view and that they wouldn’t take down the comment. This is an app that provides safe spaces for the guest but not for the host.

First time user. It’s been great!
Used to be good
But their upfront reservation fee is non-refundable after 24hrs, a percentage-based fee. That means if you need to cancel you lose a ton of money. Customer support by email has only sent me in pointless circles, wasting my time. Though I prefer to do business with the LGBT community, I will never book through this platform again.
