So they list a lot of gay homestay places - most of which don’t even bother to answer - so they have auto generated notices to bait and switch you to hetero hotels. Another business cashing in on gays.

Ken is an amazing host. He made me feel very welcome in his apartment and shared a lot info before my arrival and during my stay. I loved my chats with Ken and our morning tea. Great place to stay. Near the tram line and buses. Easy to go everywhere from his place. Highly recommended.

Great concept, clunky and slow app. It still is atrociously slow.

Would not recommend on so many levels. I genuinely wanted this platform to be a success for what it stands for but I have had no luck. I was moving to Barcelona, I messaged three people, one person ignored me, one stated that their boyfriend was staying that week and needed to update his calendar and the third person told me that house sharing was illegal and that he would give me his number to continue the conversation. I decided to stay a hostel whilst I found permanent accomodation. No review was written at the time as this is a host issue and nothing to do with the platform. I decided to use it again for a trip to Dublín. I was only there for three days so I wanted to be city centre. I used the map feature to be a 10 minute walk from the airport bus stop near Temple Bar. As they don’t give you an address until you make the purchase I clicked on the bed icon which was a 7 minute walk from the Aircoach bus stop. As it got closer to the date my flight got cancelled and I lost a night. I made no contact to the host or the platform. This is my bad luck to fix and I missed the cancellation policy. I am aware of the fact that this was an issue I had to rectify. The platform was not contacted. A few days before the flight, I checked the address which was 15 kms from the city centre. This is not what I had booked. I then made a complaint to the team to rectify the issue. Clearly I was given a 16 year old intern with the attitude assuming that I was the incompetent one. As someone who has an A Type personality and adding Ireland as my 58th country, I am well aware how to book a holiday and accomodation. The error was clearly on their end, I would never have clicked a property or opened the map up further than 3kms from the city centre due to the short time in Dublín. In all honesty, I just wanted an apology and a taxi voucher to rectify the issue because of the late night flight which was 2 hours via public transport. The reality is, it’s great to use if you don’t mind dealing with an incompetent support team. If you are organised and plan everything then stick to websites which you give you the correct addresses so you can check the location on Google Maps to plan your trip for tours, buses, trains etc. Clearly the map feature does not work, even though she tried to tell me that it was all good on their end, two months after I made the reservation. I was offered a waiver of the booking fees, if I booked with another host. Why would

I would avoid this app due to the hidden fees and unclear terms, Your better off using this app to search for accommodation and then using google to book direct with the host, I works out so much cheaper and you won’t get charged 100 euros just to change to a different room!

Perfect for a young or older gay traveller

We are relieved to have this app as a tool for our up and coming travel plans for 2020 - phew! Love it!

So hard to get an accommodation even you follow the tips. Doggy App
