Doesn’t work after 2 days
Installed and it worked for one day. Now wants to setup again and doesn’t recognize my zip code preventing a login.

Installed and it worked for one day. Now wants to setup again and doesn’t recognize my zip code preventing a login.
I did the battery inspection on my generator. But the app says I have to call my installer. Since there is no way to clear that notification I tried to delete the installer. That gives an App error. Which all goes nicely with the App error I get trying to download ANY manual. Then I tried to do In-App feedback. Which, you guessed it, gives an unknown error. Your app is kinda garbage.
The latest update to the app rendered it useless. The opening screen merely has a house diagram on it with no monitoring information and no ability to go to some other screen. The house diagram is the only thing to see now. Help!!
Used to tell me generator was ready to run, now it says status of generator unknown. Used to give information on warranty now shows nothing about it. What is the purpose of this app? It’s totally worthless. Used to recommend Generac generators to others, now I will recommend they buy from a more reputable company. This company is a true disappointment.
The application worked well prior to the recent update. I was able to see the status of the generator and monitor it’s use. Now, it’s useless and does not work at all.
This App was great. Now it opens the main screen and nothing else. Absolutely worthless until repaired.
The new app does not show last time connected status. Previous would show READY TO RUN and a time. That way you would know that status check is recent. This is still on web site interface. Frankly, the web site interface is better now and easier to use. Previous app version was good - new version is worse and missing information.
Every time I select the app., it has me sign up all over again. Doesn’t seem to do much. Maybe I’m not using it right. I don’t know. Seems useless to me.

I am updating my review as I discovered the issue with the iPad. I couldn’t get past the splash screen and gave this a 1 star review. After contacting Generac they said it only works in portrait mode. That is not totally accurate. You must turn the iPad to portrait view BEFORE you open the app for the first time. Once you sign in you can then use the app in portrait or landscape mode. I have sent this info to Generac tech support. Hopefully, they will fix it.
