Good; lacks export
It’s a really good app. But it lacks an export option, so you can’t get your data out of it, nor can you really back it up reliably.

Let me start by saying that this is still fairly useful application, but when I bought the lifetime license few years back I didn't expect it to be abandoned by the developer. There were no significant updates in years and it is not an acceptable practice, especially as they still charge monthly and annual subscriptions. I have no idea what I have paid for at this point.
I love Modacity for working on multiple songs and techniques at once. I use it to work on things for school and jazz jams! I love working and knowing that all of my jazz (my favorite) is balanced with the school music I don’t like as much. Thank you Modacity!!!
Worked great for awhile then today I didn't have any of my data. Practice lists were intact butt no history. It was using premium.
This is a nice little practice app. The free version is OK, and let’s you do some basic and useful things. But to unlock all of the features, the developers are asking you to pay $9 per month with a subscription service. I don’t see any of the paid features being worth $108 a year. I would have gladly paid a one-time fee of $4.99 to unlock the paid features. But the pricing on this app seems way out of line to me.
I get a pop up recommending premium when I’ve already purchased it. It’s annoying and makes me want to cancel premium even though I’ve had the app for over a year.
Gifted!!!!!
The best practice app! Use your imagination and it will work wonders for your music!💥🎶💥
I discovered this app on the Mind Over Finger podcast (which if you’re into effective practice and reading this you should probably check out too), I’ve only been using for a week but I definitely see an improvement in my approach to practice and probably even motivation. I use it in combination with other apps since I find the subscription model too much for me, I’m not exactly sure about the extra features on it but the only thing I feel I’m missing in the free version is the unlimited notes. Weirdly I find that that limitation ends up helping me focus on the one note I do have per piece and maybe even works for the best. I use other apps (and pen and paper) for more detailed journaling and note taking, but the practice list feature is unique here so I mainly use that. Definitely recommend the free version, I mean it’s free and if you don’t see the benefit of the subscription it still has enough features to be useful. I’m guessing the subscription is geared towards classical musicians or maybe to make you more accountable to yourself. There is an bug where when you click the note you have while a recording is being played the recording stops and doesn’t play again anymore (virtually lost) so if you try taking a note while listening it won’t work
Great app… It keeps track of my playing time and allows me to create a personal practice schedule, even has a metronome. Has really helped me review and rate my progress. Very easy to use.
