Modern Milkman Reviews

Good service, App needs work

DavePStan on

The service is really good, but the App has a few glitches - have had a couple of occasions where I wanted to skip a delivery but the App came up with an error message so I couldn’t skip the delivery!

Adding to repeat order doesn’t work

The products are good, shame the app is losing them customers.

Top quality so far

I’ve read some of the negative reviews but so far my experience has been great! The milk is better quality than I’ve ever had from a supermarket and I’ve just added a bunch of other products to my order. Very happy so far

Great

Fresh milk and produce to the door whilst supporting farmers.

Great experience

I've had great experience with the app and milk delivery. I have tried other products too and you just have to be careful when adding to your basket once if not willing to have reoccurring orders. I love the modern app and super easy way to order items! My son loves the strawberry & chocolate milk and it's amazing to drink fresh orange juice in the morning.

Tipping

Mbt555 on

I was a regular customer and happy with the service. You pay a premium for the products but I was happy to get regular fresh products and support. They then introduced tipping the driver as part of the app. As you already pay more generally I personally don’t like the pressure added to pay even more voluntarily or not. They assured me the drivers were well paid so why ask for more? It was easy to cancel my subscription through the app.

Love but one thing that’s infuriating

3my L0u on

Love the service, but only thing I have to complain about is how hard it is to change your own details on the app. If I move house it should be simple and easy for me to just change it on my account but no, you have to email an agent to wait for them to get back to you days later. I don’t want my delivery going to my old address… same with changing phone number on the account. Infuriating.

“Local products” definitely not local

uber eats app is awful :) on

United Kingdom

You can see when the product comes from England and when it doesn’t. The “fresh” milk we get does not have the Britain symbol. It does not taste like the milk we have bought from local farms before. The salesman that sold me this initiative explained everything came From local farms and businesses, so i thought i was supporting that. I am interested in fresh farm products, but they offer none. I want to support my Local farms and bakeries and businesses. This app is not it. Disappointed in this company. Just another company looking to get Your money with deceit.

App not working

LindaCav! on

United Kingdom

I like the idea of fresh milk in returnable bottles, but not impressed with the delivery. On my round it was always delivered around / after midnight (would rather prefer after 5), as during the warmer months it would be out for hours (which I wasn’t too happy about). Was a bit noisy too, which would set a neighbours dog off with the clanking of the bottles. I did want to try again, but when I updated the App it stopped working and just showing a blank screen, so not able to rejoin and start using again.

Brilliant idea!

The app is very easy to use, and having my milk delivered is very convenient for me. The milk is really good quality, confused at all the bad reviews? It’s been nothing but a great service so far
