MOL Bubi is an environmentally friendly, fast and convenient mobility alternative in the city centre. Opt for the greenest means of public transport and use MOL Bubi!
Download the app, find a MOL Bubi bike at one of the 158 stations and you are ready to ride within a few seconds.
All this in the blink of an eye: once you have registered, you can choose the fare that best suits you, and then you will be able to read the news, give feedback, redeem a coupon or contact customer service directly.
Use the QR code scanner to pick up a bike or enter the 6-digit number seen on the rear of the bike or below the seat tube. The smart lock in the back will open with a loud click, and after the beep, you can start cycling. In the app, you can track how long you have been riding. When you are ready to finish cycling, just return the bike to any station and dock it into a free slot. Lock the bike by pressing down the lever on the smart lock until it clicks.

The appli is easy use but mol buby is so expensive
Like the locks
I like that is possible to put the bike somewhere and activate the smart lock then take it back and not paying for the time it was park (in front of the bakery or something like that) It permit to not get stolen by someone else if it’s wasn’t lock :) And really nice that there is commitment for a year or something Just we pay as we use 👌🏼 Perfect for tourists

MOL Bubi is a great bike sharing system in Budapest. The only glitch I noticed with the app was that couple of times my bike did not get returned right away (and was impossible to unlock via the app).

Impossible de payer sur l’application. Erreur de page. Application incompréhensible Impossible de payer sur bornes. Après avoir fait 2 bornes, perdu 1 heure, j’ai abandonné. Ils devraient reprendre une application de n’importe quel pays. Ca marche partout sauf a budapest. L’avantage, les stations sont pleines de vélos
Could be much more convenient
Useful when using sharing bike system in Budapest Still, the app could be improved: not so easy to register, map not working offline, no indication of free spaces to give back the bike, and system not linked with (great) City Bikes app
