MOL Bubi is an environmentally friendly, fast and convenient mobility alternative in the city centre. Opt for the greenest means of public transport and use MOL Bubi!
Download the app, find a MOL Bubi bike at one of the 158 stations and you are ready to ride within a few seconds.
All this in the blink of an eye: once you have registered, you can choose the fare that best suits you, and then you will be able to read the news, give feedback, redeem a coupon or contact customer service directly.
Use the QR code scanner to pick up a bike or enter the 6-digit number seen on the rear of the bike or below the seat tube. The smart lock in the back will open with a loud click, and after the beep, you can start cycling. In the app, you can track how long you have been riding. When you are ready to finish cycling, just return the bike to any station and dock it into a free slot. Lock the bike by pressing down the lever on the smart lock until it clicks.

Don‘t use it, they will scam you!
Much to much expansive. They will charge you per minute. You habe to drive straight from one mol bubi point to the ohter. No trip possible. You can‘t lock the bike, while your drinking a coffee. If you lock, it will cost 5000€. Dont‘t use it !!!!
Schlechter Kundensupport
Achtung!!! Fahrräder dürfen anders als in anderen Europäischen Städten nur an Stationen zurückgegeben werden. Die App meldet das auch während der Rückgabe nicht, erst nach einigen Minuten bekommt man eine Nachricht mit einer Vertragsstrafe von 5000 HUF weil falsch abgestellt. Rückganängig machen konnte man das ganze auch nicht, obwohl die Fahrräder noch an der selben Stelle standen. Völlig undurchsichtig, meiner Meinung nach ist das Touristen Abzocke. Nach diesem Erlebnis haben wir dir Fahrräder nie wieder genutzt.

Flexible travelling
Sometimes I has its flaws, but for 2€ a month it is a perfect way of flexible travelling in Budapest!
Achtung Touristen!
Bitte aufpassen, da es von Mol Bubi nicht erwähnt wird: Die Räder dürfen - nicht wie in anderen europäischen Ländern - NUR an Stationen von Mol Bubi wieder abgegeben werden. Sonst wird eine Gebühr von satten 15€ eingezogen. Die Räder weisen beim Parkvorgang auch nicht darauf hin, dass das Parken außerhalb der Stationen nicht erlaubt ist. Mega undurchsichtig für Touristen, da die gesamte Kommunikation vom Anmeldevorgang bis zur Erklärung von den beschriebenen „Service Gebühren“ nur auf ungarischer Sprache stattfindet. Darüberhinaus wurden mir trotz dem korrekten Parken in der Mol Bubi Station trotzdem 15€ Service Gebühr wegen angeblichem Falschparken von der Kreditkarte abgezogen. Ich habe mich beim Kundenservice beschwert und schlussendlich mein Geld zurück erhalten. Fazit: Wir haben das 2 Tage mitgemacht und sind dann auf die Roller von LIME und TIER umgestiegen. Hat wunderbar funktioniert, keine undurchsichtigen Kosten und nachvollziehbare Anleitung zum korrekten Parken.
Intransparent model, tourist scam, hands off!
I like the idea of getting around with bikes trough Budapest. At first it looks like the cheapest solution, but they won‘t tell you that you are only allowed to park the bikes on their stations and every time you don‘t they charge you 13 Euro, which is a lot compared to their currency. The registration process is also complicated and bad. Just use the E-Scooters from Lime, Tier, Bird etc. Would not recommend the service in retrospect.

Das Ausleihen und Zurückgeben per App sind super einfach. Außerdem finde ich es super fair, dass ich nach 30 min einfach ein anderes Fahrrad ausleihen kann, um weiter kostenfrei zu fahren - so klappt die Mobilitätswende! 👍🏼
Worst App EVER!!! Worst City Bike EVER!!!
Frist of all, I have a lot of experience with using city bikes. I think they are a great option for sightseeing and a cheap alternative to other transport options. I cannot recommend these bikes and this awful “App”. Payment registration did not work. The app is not usable at all. Almost died because my breaks were broken.
