Yes, Money Jar is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Money Jar legit?
⚠️ The Money Jar app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The app continuously causes glitches. When I need to transfer money from my savings jars to my main account it freezes or transactions don’t go through until a day or two later. Bank transactions, especially digital ones should be seamless and immediate otherwise there is no point. And not being able to deposit cheques is also a pain.

I received an amount from the company I work for in the amount of € 701.28, the amount simply disappeared from my account and this bank has not given any satisfaction so far, I am contacting the central bank of Ireland and the Garda to report them because the money is to pay my rent and the deadline for me to pay the rent where I live is over

This app is always having issues and need to be updated without telling you. Thecustomer-service is slow and unreachable over the phone. Don’t recommend it!

Other my friends got their accounts during a few hours, but my account has not been confirmed for 4-5 days. I need bank account as soon as it possible! Because tomorrow I have to pay for my living, and I have no money now! And I can’t get my salary without bank account! That’s why I need it right now! I have described my situation, asked for speed up a proccess. All I hear in response is "there are no estimated terms". I am very unsatisfied with the app and the bank! Please fix this! Please be a little human!

worst bank I know, their system had an error and disappeared with my money and they just did nothing! I don't recommend it, the bank application always has problems

Good bank no fuss!
Moved to Ireland for work and needed a irish bank account for my salary to be paid to. It was super easy to open an account with Money Jar. I did not have to be in Ireland to open the account. The bad thing is that I have locked myself out of my account(by mistyping my password) a few times leaving me with no access to my money, but Money Jars support team has always been fast in helping me get access again. For that to be the biggest trouble I have had with Money Jar has to say something!
Horrible bank
On November 1st, I made an internal transfer, from money jar to money jar, and this transfer did not land in the recipient's account, on the second day I sent a message to them, they got back to me saying that it should be transferred in a maximum of 3 days, on the fifth day I came back saying that it hadn't fallen yet, they told me they were solving it and that was it for another week, meanwhile I had to manage having to take out a loan to pay my bills, in the second week they didn't even respond anymore, the money didn't it still crashed, and they don't even respond anymore, so DON'T USE THIS BANK, they just stall saying they'll solve it and they don't, until it gets to the point that they don't even respond anymore, I'll try to spread it on all social networks so that nobody uses this bank, it is horrible, they stole my money, and they did not help me at all, they do not answer me anymore, they are treating me as if nothing had happened, so I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS BANK
