In 2017, I bought the same application. jumsoft cut support before 1 year had expired. killed the software. now he published the application with the same name with the same head again. retroactive restoration cannot be done, a weasel software developer is already developing a person. In my opinion it’s a great finance app I’ve ever seen. My personal choice. Thanks.

Money 5 is advertised as “streamlined” - in English: they did away with large parts of the functionality that made the previous version great. Examples: No more adding payees from contacts or Foursquare on Mac (conversely, in the iOS app, if you have location services on, Money will show you 60 irrelevant Foursquare locations before the one business you have already done 20 transactions with - go figure). Instead of a couple of clicks to enter, say, a transfer, like in Money 4, you have to scroll through lists and lists of accounts. Furthermore, each transaction on the screen is like an inch tall - more scrolling to even see all the transactions of last week. But it look sooo pretty….. (thought noone ever). The previous version was for financially somewhat literate people, this one has the look and feel of being written for kindergartners with too much time on their hands. Equally bad - the related iOS app (though ironically, the Mac-iOS sync is now iCloud-based and the only thing that works better than previously.) As much as I loved the old Money, as much I hate the new one. The only thing keeping me from switching to somethng else altogether right now is the intimidating thought of reentering all my information somewhere else, especially since the CSV files generated by this version of Money are totally messed up as well and thus returning only garbage when imported elsewhere. And now I’m waiting to see if this review will also disappear like my previous one.

Tried using this and got to the point where I started connecting my bank account to it. They seem to use a custom integration solution when connecting to your bank, not Plaid. I have no idea what they’re doing with my banking information at this point since I’m entering it into their black box.

I was looking at other apps hope this has better personal growth features created your own transaction. Users should watch a tutorial to learn how it works. Users review are completely wrong. Name users Arthur Fajardo Developer i notice network errors on the app needs backup upgrade so it doesn’t show errors on the transaction please fix it automatically easy without stressing please

this app did not support my bank for downloading transactions. which is the feture I am looking for. unfortunately i was not able to see that till after i downloaded and purchased the subscription and now I have to go throught the hassle of canceling it. not worth the purchase

Issues, one after another. From accounts not syncing - for an entire month - to Accounts constantly needing to be reconnected and finally not connecting at all even after contacting support. Attempts to correct Connections resulted in hours of Disconnecting/Connecting Accunts that had previously been connected. The frustrations mounted. (Discover Card and Target Card would connect and disconnect constantly - I finally gave up on them) Even getting Support was problematic as they would send generic instructions that were hard to follow and/or did not work at all. And when the Developer did attempt to address specific issues, the instructions would often be exactly the same as I reported trying already. There are other issues I wanted to address that I didnt even get to as there were too many other issues that I needed to prioritize. This App could be so great, but I came to suspect the Developer is catering to a small specific group of users who make demands for far too many complicated functions, not necessary for most users. That has driven me away. (It's amazing to me these supposed "power" users are still there after the App not syncing so often and/or for so long!) After tolerating so much downtime (I gave it the benefit of the doubt for a really long time) I realized it syncs very slowly - days later than other App's. I discovered this as I was forced to trial different Apps while waiting for this one to work. Many issues with late and/or non-syncing items emerged. It would seem, reading over other Reviews, that there's a huge gap between what this Developer thinks are updates for a small contingent of Users and what the average User finds is actually working AT ALL. "Improvements" in this App are driving away so many Users. The Reviews do not reflect it getting better over time.
