Morimoto XBT

I bought this along with some halos. It worked smoothly once and then after that I’m no longer able to connect to the controller at all. so now I have a useless controller on my car that I bought for 100$. I feel like I’m not the only one having these issues but for some reason they don’t seem to make an effort to fix the bugs and problems.

I’m very disappointed that the app does NOT have iPhone X and up screen support. I paid over $200 for the Morimoto Controller just to be disappointed with an app that I’d not responsive, optimized or built well at all. I also think that you should allow users to select a preset for XBT startup colours other than white.

Where do I start

The app loses the ability to sync up with the controller itself. I have enough data to re download the app when I need to but still rather annoying. App looks and feels like it was made in 2010 lol needs some major updates

Its super outdated, doesmt even support iPhone X layout

For how expensive the controller is the app is rather poor. Really requires some updating. After using the system for a while I wish I chose a different brand.

Things to consider adding -number values for precise colour control, i find it difficult/impossible to make pure red/blue or green with this app. -add customizable themes. why not right! -Ability to name saved favorites, would be handy when you have 4 different red spectrums saved for example. -Ability to start in amber mode instead of white on initial startup.

this app needs an update it is very laggy the lights dont always respond to the app

The quad switchback with colour change is great but the app does not control them properly. Most of the time I just want the white light on with the switchback and my lights flash and strobe or comeback on a different colour. Also will not sync up properly with my iphone 8

I had my prism halos professionally installed along with the xbt controller. I’ve had nothing but issues with this app. It randomly turns my halos random colours even when the app is closed. It’s wired up so they’re suppose to be white/amber on turn but I pull over and get out and notice one halo is red... good way to get pulled over. Hopefully this app is updated and bugs are fixed. Installer confirmed no issues with drivers etc.
