Morpheus is the first app designed to power smarter cardio, faster recovery, and help you improve your fitness and conditioning.


When combined with the Morpheus M7 heart rate monitor, the app is able to measure and track your HRV and your recovery, give you personalized heart rate zones, and help you to hit the right amount of volume and intensity each week with its CardioSmart features.

For the first time, training to improve conditioning is as simple as it gets. No more confusion about what heart rates to train at, which zone you should be in, what types of intervals are best, or how much cardio you need to do each week.


Morpheus takes the guesswork out of your heart rate training and gives you 12 zone-based intervals to choose from to take your conditioning to the next level.

ZBIT can be done with any Bluetooth heart rate monitor and a Morpheus device is not needed to unlock this feature.

Finding the right balance between how much you should train and how hard you should train is one of the biggest challenges in fitness.


After analyzing the data from more than 500,000+ workouts and 1 million days of use, Morpheus has learned how much time in each of its 3 heart rate zones is needed to drive the faster improvements in aerobic fitness and conditioning.


Each week, Morpheus will set your heart rate zone targets based on your fitness level, goal, recovery, and your previous workouts. This makes it easier than ever to get the right amount of volume and intensity that you need to maximize your cardio for better health, performance, and longevity.


Requirements: To unlock the weekly zone targets, the Morpheus HRM is required. Without this, Morpheus is unable to calculate a recovery score or provide personalized heart rate zones and targets.

Each day, using its proprietary algorithms, Morpheus will give you a recovery score to help you manage your training and your lifestyle to optimize for the fastest results possible. Together with its personalized heart rate zones and targets, Morpheus will make sure your body gets the training and the recovery it needs to perform its best.


And if you’re using a wearable to track activity and sleep, Morpheus can also pull this data in to help you see the big picture of how they’re impacting your recovery.


Please note that activity (steps), calories, and sleep can be tracked directly with Fitbit and Garmin devices, or by connecting to the Apple Health Kit.

If you choose to track activity, sleep, or calorie data from the Apple Health Kit, Morpheus will display that data within the app and use it to generate your daily recovery score.


Activity and sleep tracking are not required to use Morpheus, but are recommended to improve the accuracy of the recovery score.

I really tried to like and understand what the hoopla was about. There’s nothing that this does that my Garmin fenix7 doesn’t do, and Garmin does so much more and better. Stopped using it. In fact, not using it anymore I’m trending in the better shape direction. It is way too conservative as far as effort, and constantly telling me to throttle back. I was meticulous on consistency using and like I said, looking for opportunities to see the value. Save your $100 or whatever it costs at the moment.

Crashes constantly on my phone now. When I first got this in January it was fantastic but now the iPhone 13 doesn’t seem to work anymore.

Had to come to a place to share my experience with this app and over all customer service This app and measuring has helped me to gain insight in what I am doing in regards to activity and how recovery (sleep/habits) directly affect it. It can also be linked to my gym for continuous improvement in my workouts and fitness. In addition, I reached out to support because I wanted to buy an additional charger - Response time was fast (less than 24 hours) and supplied additional information and so helpful in helping to learn more about the functionality. I’m so stoked for this product and had to share my wonderful experience. Thank you, Dan!

Have used this app since the beginning. It’s awesome. The in depth educational content changed my perspective on training. Highly recommend the coaching course offered to maximize your potential to benefit from the software. This app has amazing support response if you have issues +very responsive Facebook group if you have need help. A consistent daily HRV reading and monitoring cardiovascular training is essential to optimize your health. It sorta works like a tachometer on a car, but it’s updated daily to reflect your needs. Lastly, I’d recommend taking advantage of all the educational information before posting questions that can be answered with a basic search. Decided to leave an in depth review because of the 1-2 star reviews on here are insane based on either laziness or lack of baseline intelligence. -yes you need a specific monitor to use the software. It’s not free, anything free in this realm is not worth using. -People are too caught up in tracking everything. (that actually over complicates things.) -HRV does not need to be monitored constantly!!! -Sleep doesn’t need to be monitored either!!!

Though I didn’t keep the M7 strap (my training style didn’t align with the data it provided) their customer service is extremely helpful and respond fast. Dan helped me a lot in terms of educating me about the benefits the strap provides, how to get the most out of it, and also processing my return. I also had zero issues with loading or importing data from the strap to the app.

Needs Their HR Strap

They claim they are compatible with other HR belts. But to “unlock” their premier feature, custom Heart Rate Zones, a recovery test must be run first. A recovery HRV test can only be run with their belt. Hence, the app is useless without their belt.

HRMs lacking compatibility

Need to update for all HRMs to compatible. Especially if you are wanting more users who probably have an HRM, ie whoop, Apple Watch, etc

Crashes on second day

First day worked, though finicky when trying to reconnect. Crashed when opening up on second day - and now does it every time, so I can not use app. Deleted/reinstalled app - did not help. So it’s now unusable for me.
