I was looking for a basic organiser because physical organisers that i usually use is getting more and more pricey! This was relatively cheap (RM17.90 for a year!) compared to my usual physical organiser refill that cost (RM61 a year!) I was looking for something that has great support, works on the ipad and the iphone, able to use apple pencil to scribble and draw (I like mindmaps!) and I used to use Moleskine organisers so, this was a no-brainer! I love that I can set up the pages as I liked, journal with dates on the right, task list on the left and a spread to scribble and draw when i’m bored! It’s super easy to use, very direct and basic. If you’re looking for those cute cute planners, this is not it. If you’re looking for a whole artistic sketchbook, this is not it. This is pretty basic and you can find more advanced “books” by the same developer. Nope this helps! Overall I’m extremely happy with this app! I spent the whole day Googling all the diary/organiser app. If the developer is reading this, can we please have the option of a passcode lock on the journal? That would be great!
Paper alternative
So this hasn’t been updated in a while, no new features but a good alternative to Paper. Glad I found this and hope it gets an update.
Cannot make a PDF of the journal plus Print Promise not realized.
Either provide the print function or drop it. Stop advertising that it will be coming! At least allow a user to make a pdf of the journal?
Update on False Advertising
It is now 2024 and there still is only a promise of future printing of books. This is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Otherwise I like using it.
Great _ work _ tool
It will be really great when you can link , mirror between several devices on one account.
Needs a good pencil
Great app but is missing that sketchy pencil feel with options. Like a sharp, slightly used and dull pencil which procreate has.

The app is really good! I love it, the page flips are really neat, and it’s just fun to use. I’ve been using it for quite a while. However, Why the heck do people need to BUY BRUSHES?! You have to get a PRO version of this app to use 99% of its content! That’s fricken stupid and I have to pay for my favorite one! WHY WOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR A BRUSH THAT SHOULD BE FREE ANYWAYS?! THE PENCIL ONE IS FRICKEN SWEET AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT?!?! I’m not spending money on 6 BRUSHES! Plus, selling data isn’t very pogchamp of you tbh. :/
Not Great
I downloaded this to use as an art journal and I regret spending money on the subscription. I can’t set an image as a background, clip a page to stay in the boundaries of the page, or lock parts while I adjust others leading to me accidentally moving something unintended instead and I can’t undo movements. The pens and brushes are a joke and there seems to be no easy way to access any sort of settings. Tried adding text and when I went to select fonts the list was empty. Don’t spend money on this. It’s not worth it. I wish I could get a refund.
They don’t update or improve
Don’t get me wrong. I love trace and I use all their apps pro subscription. For years I have been suggesting improvements to at least come close to moleskin flow or paper or even apple note.but nothing ! No updates no improvements. All pens are not scaled well for the size of the paper so you can really draw anything on one side. It’s just really poor compared to other design & art journals
