OVERVIEW
Whether you workout on Peloton Bike, Tread or Row or utilize 3rd Party Equipment - mPaceline can be a great tool to support your training.
mPaceline was created out of a love of spinning. The developer and his wife bought a Peloton Bike and loved it from the start. However, like many others, they struggled to demonstrate to themselves that their training was paying off.
Our focus in creating mPaceline was to provide a tool that would demonstrate the hard work you are putting into your training is seen.

Visualize your results
* To show you that all your hard work, sweat and sometimes tears, are paying off.
* To demonstrate that over time you're able to produce a higher average output at a similar effort or average heart rate.
* To compare past workouts that you have done and see improvement across a variety of metrics.
* To highlight the instructors that motivate you to achieve your best efforts.
* To measure and support your heart rate training as you look to improve your overall health.

APP DETAILS
mPaceline is a cycling and running workout App. If you are looking to track results of other workout types, then mPaceline is not for you.
mPaceline works best if your focus is on taking spinning, running or rowing classes that allow you to capture data from the class to later be entered into the App. If you are a Peloton Bike, Tread or Row owner, then this will perfectly fit your training.
mPaceline is comprised of the iPhone App that allows you to visually see all your workouts as well as an Apple Watch Companion App from which you can begin and monitor workouts on your wrist. While the iPhone App is detailed and will take some time for you to learn all the features, the Watch App is designed to be very straight forward.
You have several options for capturing performance metrics (power, cadence, heart rate, calories, distance, etc..) for a workout:
1) You can take advantage of mPaceline’s Watch App. The watch app offers you a visual of your ride and you can quickly glance at your wrist to see how you are doing. Workouts done on the watch are automatically transferred to the iPhone App when the workout concludes. Here you can view your full workout details. Note - if you choose to, you can stream the workout from your watch to the iPhone app and have both devices showing you your data.
2) You can utilize Bluetooth meters connected to the mPaceline iPhone App (HR, Power, Cadence) to record your performance over a workout period. In this option, you don't need to have an Apple Watch. The workout is automatically saved in mPaceline when it is complete.
3) If you own a Peloton Bike, Tread or Row and don't feel the need to track the ride separately, you can simply download the results of your workout when it's complete.
Apple Health Integration:
Workouts created by mPaceline are automatically saved in Apple Health and these workouts will contribute to your activities rings and be viewable in the Activity App.

Swim workouts

It would be wonderful if you could add swimming workouts to this tool. It’s a great tool but non of my Apple swim workouts get transferred in.

The easier part of peloton is the Pro subscription

BtheBB on

mPaceLine Pro subscription is everything needed to link my Keiser bike to the Peloton App. It has every statistic and metric needed or wanted. It always work perfectly 100%. Jeez, if only the Peloton app worked as well. Thanks for such great support and updates.

Can’t end workouts on Apple Watch.

OneLateNightMan on

I’ve been using MPaceLine for many years. I’m a paid yearly subscriber as well, that’s how much I like the app. Unfortunately, I can no longer end workouts using an Apple Watch. I have this problem on multiple Apple Watches too. I’ve reached out to support, and they say they’re aware of it and working on a fix. As of now, I no longer use the app. Hopefully a fix is in the works & it will be a five star rating again.

Good App needs to make a simple fix

A.Game on

United States

Pretty good app with lots of useful metrics. My one complaint and it seems so simple to fix is update the instructors list. I wish I could get accurate data related ti what I do with various coaches but the list is missing so many of the instructors it’s basically useless. Most of my exercises just get recorded as “multiple instructors” and that done by me manually. Please make that one simple fix

Lagging/Freezing Make It Unusable

App lags and freezes making it unusable. Very disappointing.

Stopped working

Radfordg on

United States

I’m a Pro subscriber. Was away on vacation for 3 weeks. Now the app won’t let me start a workout unless I create a Peloton account. I ride a Keiser bike. This wasn’t an issue 3 weeks ago. App is good, but not very user friendly. Many features are hard to identify until the user just clicks around and figures it out, like manually starting a session. I have to click on the small blue watch icon at the top next to other icons. Needs to be more functional for other bikes besides Peloton.

Excellent history data. Very helpful. Can see change over several years. And compare key metrics. Thank you.

New Peloton pricing = switch to Apple Health

Toomanybarts on

United States

I don’t own a Peloton bike but I use the peloton app and mPaceLine and loved it. Peloton are changing app pricing which means I’ll be moving to Apple Fitness (already get it as part of Apple One). Will mPaceLine work and integrate with Apple Fitness?

Can’t give it try

WriterMusicGirl on

United States

It automatically downloaded old peloton workouts from 2022 so I couldn’t test it. I tried unsuccessfully a couple times using it with my Schwinn IC4 but now it loaded old workouts and wants me to upgrade. If I’d actually gotten to try it and get it to work I’d happily pay but not comfortable buying it before getting it to work.

This app is very Very _____?

Chicago central on

United States

When it’s Works it works okay, there is very old instruction and never updated, per Version. Nor is dated. Bluetooth is flaky as a 2 Dollar bill at best. And when things go bad you have a fb Community and it happens often and to many. It’s good it’s Great. But i doubt you can get a season in without any eruption’s. Nothing is for sure. everything is a little iffy.
