mPaceline was created out of a love of spinning. The developer and his wife bought a Peloton Bike and loved it from the start. However, like many others, they struggled to demonstrate to themselves that their training was paying off.
Our focus in creating mPaceline was to provide a tool that would demonstrate the hard work you are putting into your training is seen.

APP DETAILS
mPaceline is a cycling and running workout App. If you are looking to track results of other workout types, then mPaceline is not for you.
mPaceline works best if your focus is on taking spinning, running or rowing classes that allow you to capture data from the class to later be entered into the App. If you are a Peloton Bike, Tread or Row owner, then this will perfectly fit your training.
mPaceline is comprised of the iPhone App that allows you to visually see all your workouts as well as an Apple Watch Companion App from which you can begin and monitor workouts on your wrist. While the iPhone App is detailed and will take some time for you to learn all the features, the Watch App is designed to be very straight forward.
You have several options for capturing performance metrics (power, cadence, heart rate, calories, distance, etc..) for a workout:
1) You can take advantage of mPaceline’s Watch App. The watch app offers you a visual of your ride and you can quickly glance at your wrist to see how you are doing. Workouts done on the watch are automatically transferred to the iPhone App when the workout concludes. Here you can view your full workout details. Note - if you choose to, you can stream the workout from your watch to the iPhone app and have both devices showing you your data.
2) You can utilize Bluetooth meters connected to the mPaceline iPhone App (HR, Power, Cadence) to record your performance over a workout period. In this option, you don't need to have an Apple Watch. The workout is automatically saved in mPaceline when it is complete.
3) If you own a Peloton Bike, Tread or Row and don't feel the need to track the ride separately, you can simply download the results of your workout when it's complete.
Apple Health Integration:
Workouts created by mPaceline are automatically saved in Apple Health and these workouts will contribute to your activities rings and be viewable in the Activity App.

mPaceline is free to try. You can download and use mPaceline at no charge for up to 25 workouts. Once you have hit the 25 workout limit, you can subscribe to "mPaceline Pro" to gain unlimited workouts.
- MONTHLY and YEARLY auto-renewing mPaceline Pro membership subscription are offered
- Payments will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off from your iTunes account settings at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term
- Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited if a pro subscription is purchased
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Shame the trial is so restrictive
Downloaded the app & imported rides from my peloton, tried to download my full catalog filling the 25 allocated for a trial, I then saw a delete option so figured I could delete older rides to see my newer ones…but in the trial version you are only allowed 5 deletes.
So now after using my 5 deletes and the import dragging a bunch of older stuff through the app is only any good for viewing those 25 so what’s the point?
Might’ve payed for the pro if it was a flat fee but another subscription - no thanks.
Fantastic app for Peloton
As a peloton bike owner, this is an absolutely amazing app! If you like to see a detailed analysis of your workouts this app is brilliant.
As an added bonus it also allows you to search on demand classes and get a preview of the target cadence/resistance that will be asked for during the class - a feature that the Peloton bike has, but the Peloton app lacks.
I cannot recommend this app highly enough.
I did feel though, that the trial version didn’t allow me to get enough of a feel for the app, so instead I dived straight in and purchased a one month subscription to properly test it. The outlay is relatively small and for anybody who likes what they’ve read so far in this review I am confident you won’t regret it!

Fantastic app for powerzone riders! Works great with Keiser bikes. Absolutely love it, highly recommended!
Can’t even try it
So I loaded up and chose the option to load up past cycling history. What I did not know was when 25 rides were imported it nullified my trial as max usage was used without even trying it !
Thanks, but no thanks uninstalled. I’m not paying a subscription without trying first
Fantastic
Superb accompaniment to any peloton bike subscription. Allows you to really understand, analyse and plan your training to avoid injury and maximise effectiveness. Has all the data you could possibly need and more.
Poor on Apple Watch
I couldnt switch this off on my Apple Watch after a workout. It stayed in screen and no matter how I swiped it would not go away. I loaded the main app on my phone and was shocked by the amateur UX. deleted it and will buy a heart monitor for my peloton instead

I don’t think I’ve written any reviews but this really is an excellent tool full of data for me to evaluate and improve my Peloton rides. Well done.
Great app
Works well with the peloton bike (although I've only got the free membership, so limited rides included).
Incorrect Data Recorded
I got this to work with my Peloton but found when I import the data that it’s incorrect! The Kms completed on my spin bike are drastically cut when the data is transferred over. Strange as it’s 100% accurate on Strava.
Can’t export data
App is good as a stand-alone but can’t get it out to Fitbit or MyFitnessPal...poor!
