Thankful for the remote control, “cause this ap doesn’t get the job done. The ap is, unfortunately, the only way to program a schedule for the unit. When it works, it is good, but I’ve experienced frequent network errors where the device and phone won’t talk to each other. Everything will be fine for a few days, or sometimes weeks, but then I’ll walk into the room and notice the hvac unit is off when it should be on or vice versa. Frustrating. Also, there should be a way to turn off the ridiculously bright display on the unit from the ap. Would not purchase another Mr. Cool product.

Can’t control this thing. I’ve never felt held hostage by HVAC system before; this thing makes my house so uncomfortable. For reference we have a new multi-zone mini split system and just got it installed in time for winter, and they have some bizarre philosophy of keeping the compressor “always running” at a minimum level, which in turn means the bedrooms all overheat by at least 10 degrees. Support has tried a couple things, but can’t make it stop.

Go through a convoluted bunch of steps to set up the device and it still doesn’t connect after. Not worth installing the stupid dongle. As soon as it prompted me to create an account then wouldn’t use Apple sign in I knew it was going to be a mess.

I love the phone app. But I’d like to see dark mode embedded in the app. Sometimes the app is too bright on eyes especially at night time.even if screen is set to lowest brightness. Otherwise it’s awesome 🙂

The support team is great. Very patient and knowledgeable

I like the app but why can’t you guys add the TURN OFF/ON LED feature on the app. I don’t like having the LED on while using the AC through my app.

Heating a 24 x 36 garage with 10 ft ceiling. Spray foam insulation. Installed 11/13/24. So far very happy with product. Just got my app to work . It took some doing . Had to put WiFi extender in right place to get signal from house. Garage is sided and roofed with metal so signal is difficult at times. Very happy good investment.
