Music League

Published by: Music League

Description

Music League lets you share and discover music (and rediscover some forgotten faves) by competing to determine the best songs for a particular theme!
If you want to discover new music, you will, all while you share songs you’re passionate about. With some luck, you can claim to have better taste in music than your friends, family or coworkers. You can even play with someone from the other side of the planet!
Music League fans play for many different reasons …to win, to reminisce, to reconnect, to get to know each other. But also to discover new tunes and rediscover older favorites by looking at music in a totally new way.
Music League players will submit a song for each round's "theme". Every round presents a new way to think about your music and a reason to share the songs you love, the songs you always thought deserved more love, or the songs you find that perfectly fit the theme.
Sample themes could include:
- Best cover song
- Songs that remind us of our Freshman Dorm
- Song I found TikTok
- Best song of 2025 so far
- Best song you've seen performed live
- Songs that remind us of the family cabin
- Songs to sing in the shower
- Song from an artist my child/parent should get into
Gameplay:
- Players submit a song that matches a theme
- The app creates anonymous, shuffled Spotify playlist … a free (or paid) Spotify account is required.
- Players vote for which songs they like best or the song that fits the theme best
- Players can comment on songs as they vote
- When the votes are in, you are able to see who submitted which songs, all the comments and, most importantly: who won the round!
- A champion is crowned for each round… updating the leaderboard along the way
- An overall champion for each Music League is named after the last round
- You’ll also see who gave you the most love…and the least!
Features:
Music League is always evolving. Features are added along the way …more will be coming (don’t be shy, let us know what you think we should add!)

Music League Reviews

Monthly subscription is ridiculous

SPendaLEnda on

Mostly subscription to remove adds is outrageous. Make it a one time payment. Stop trying to profit off your app. Instead maybe improve it.

F ads

So many ads

I was enjoying this app for about a week, until ads were introduced… I donʼt usually mind ads but they are constant and yall are charging users a MONTHLY subscription to go ad-free lol itʼs a bit much

ads ruin this app

nfnejaoxb on

would have previously given this app 5 stars, but the recent addition of ads (which pop up pretty much any time you click anything), has completely ruined the experience for me. i won’t be playing anymore after finishing my current league

Very fun, but…

This game is very fun and I appreciate the unique concept! However, I think a major improvement would be the ability to play previews of songs in-app. As of right now, submitting an unpopular song is kind of a “death wish” points-wise. I think people would be more motivated to actually listen to all the songs submitted if an in-app preview were available. It’d be especially great if users could select which section of their submitted song would be featured in the preview.

Ads, really?

I don’t think anyone is going to pay for a subscription. Annoying.

Had a lot of fun with this but the second you start showing me full screen ads I’m out

Tons of potential

So far I’ve only played a couple rounds of this game, and it’s super cool. Good way to find new music in a friendly competition-like way. I think there’s two main things to improve. 1. People should be able to see comment of whoever submitted each song before they vote. 2. You should add the option of fixed or variable deadlines. For example, if everyone has submitted a song a few hours before the deadline, it should go straight to the voting phase instead of making everyone wait for no reason.

Amazing Game for Music Lovers

This is the first review I’ve ever written because I feel like this game could really take off. It is such a fun way to share your favourite songs while discovering new music from all genres. My friends and I have been using it for the better part of a year and we still have great discussions about music and playlists. Definitely worth your time if you’re a music lover. Thanks to the developers for such a great concept and keep the updates coming! No misses so far.

Good but have some needs.

Boondock1975 on

Me and my friends are enjoying the music league and having fun creating playlist and introducing each other to new music. The only things that needs to added is the ability to downvote as many songs as you want, but optionally. Not be forced to downvote, but be given the option to do so if you wish.
