Actually works
I will be honest, this is good. For me at least it helped me and after a few days I have memorized a few notes although I already knew the acronyms for the notes. I’m not sure how good it is when starting from scratch.

Too many ads
Adds, Adds, Adds, on the free version. Couldn’t even use it enough to see if I wanted the paid version!!
Should have the whole keyboard. It is confusing with only an octave. I then went to play my keyboard and it slows down practice. Can you update where it would be the whole keyboard? Maybe turn it lengthwise?
A super app but the pop ups are terrible.
my sight reading speed skyrocket
I’ve played guitar for years then I took a couple year break. However, I started piano and I learned treble clef with guitar but I was not familiar with bass clef. This app has helped me so much for not knowing any notes , to sight reading.
First, the ads in the free version are so non stop and glitchy I can’t even enjoy the app enough to want to get the paid version. I’d probably upgrade if I could use it for a few minutes without constant bombardment. You need to tweak the gameplay in settings but everyone you enter settings or change one little thing you get a new ad making it impossible to just try some options. The way it’s designed encourages you to tweak gameplay which can lead to 3 ads all within about 20 seconds of trying to play. Now ad the fact the ads are glitchy. They freeze, and some are so oversized you can’t find the close button. Or the close button is just non responsive making you watch the entire 30 seconds. Actual gameplay: It’s sorta meh. When you get a wrong answer it just sorta glitches to the next one. It works but just feels like a college students project. That being said, It’s probably fine but just too much of a mess.
I didn’t pay a dime for this, but the “ads” are nothing compared to the unskippable, multileveled 60s ads on other apps. To put it simply, I’m really enjoying how quickly I can start a sight-reading test, finish, and get in another. The test itself is easily customizable and super valuable to me (a 23-year-old, RUSTY piano player, who WAS pretty good 5+ years ago and since has gained brain fog, stress, anxiety and wrinkles under my eyes). Much prefer opening this to instagram.
Great free practice tool for students
