Learn to read sheet music and improve your sight-reading skills with Music Tutor. Develop your speed and accuracy in reading sheet music by identifying music notes in timed sessions. Choose to practice with notes in treble, bass and alto clefs in timed or untimed sessions. After each test, you can review your mistakes and see your progress.

Great Practice Aid

Half the story of learning sight reading is learning to instantly recognise the notes. This really helps with that. Now, sight reading practice just involves finding appropriate transcriptions and getting on with the joy of playing. Plus it’s free (with adds). Job well done.

Annoying ads and far too many…

I am trying to learn music notes and this doesn’t really help me because it just… expects me to know what the notes are. if it had a thing that helps you LEARN the notes i think that would be useful thanks

Missing keys

Can’t select different keys signatures. Can only practice accidentals on notes

Really good app but the advertising is tedious

Very handy for a free app.

Good for hammering home note positions until you know longer have to think about it
