Do you still have to buy coins to open chapters when you are paying the weekly premium?

I paid for a subscription and still can not read the book without waiting 8 hours between chapters, and the chapters are all of 1 min long. Not worth the wait or the cost. I’m not paying for a weekly subscription just to have to pay more to get enough coins to read a book within a decent time frame. Sorry, not going to take 3 months to read any book let alone one that is not well written.

Grossly Overpriced, Atrocious Grammar

First, they need to hire a proofreader. It doesn’t matter how good the stories are. The books have so many grammar mistakes that they’re hard to read. Second, the books are ridiculously overpriced. The books are broken down into many chapters that are very short. The book I tried to read was 313 chapters. It costs 33 coins to unlock one chapter. Even if they gave me the first 40 chapters for free, I would still need over 8000 coins to finish the book. When I go to the shop, it costs $50 for 5000 coins. When I add it up, they want me to pay more than $75 to read one book? That is ludicrous! Who pays that kind of money to read one poorly edited book? The developers should be ashamed to charge so much. It would be cheaper to buy a limited edition hardback book series with props than read on their app.

The stories are great, but I hate how I have to wait. Seven hours just to go to another chapter and that is my first time ever reading on this app and that I’m already having trouble with this app and plus I have to have coins to go to the next chapter like seriously, you expect me to have bunches of coins on the first time having the app!!!!

Terrible App

This is a terrible app. I paid $16 to read 1 book and was not able to finish the book. I will have to purchase the book to be able to read the entire book. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

Why?

Why can’t I just purchase a book? All of this coin stuff is ridiculous! Plus, you only get a couple of pages when you purchase with a good number of coins. AND these books have hundreds of chapters, so one book will cost about the same amount as several hardback books! In reading several chapters for free, I have found several I would like to purchase. BUT fooling with the coins and/only being allowed to read a couple of pages every day just isn’t worth the trouble.

Is there a way to buy the whole app for a year like another story app I use? Getting coins everyday is not practical for me and is expensive too.

App is full of flaws

I read a book through chapter 40 and then it reset back to chapter one. Probably going to just delete this. Tired of wasting my time. And I bet this review won’t get posted.

Don’t buy this app it’s awful

Twice now, I have purchased coins and have not received them, but I still got charged when I contacted support. No one ever got back to me.

Paid for trial only to be asked to pay more

I wanted to read just one story, I got the 99 cent trial which offered 1000 coins and then $7.99 per week after trial period is over. I was given no coins and instead offered to buy another $7.99 trial so I could get to chapter 4? Or 5? What did the first trial period even do? I paid for absolutely nothing. Why didn’t I get my coins offered in the first trial? What a waste! Just a money grab. I’d rather just go buy an actual book or download a reputable online book app like audible or kindle. Enjoy my dollar app creators. You won’t get any more money from me if I can’t even use the trial period to see if I want to continue the service! Very disappointing!
