MyStudyLife Reviews

Loved the app previously not so much

I’ve used my study life my whole college career but this new update has hindered the transition of my information on my computer to my phone it appears it wants me to pay to see my account information I put on my laptop. This is very frustrating and I may stop using the app very disappointed.

Update :(

I've been using this app for YEARS and always loved it. But this new update makes it hard to use and is not user friendly at all. Not to mention it takes away the simplicity of the first version. Very disappointed.

Terrible Update

This new update has completely wiped out my schedule and it’s made it extremely difficult to follow. I’m disappointed because i’ve used this app for a very long time and it’s ruined. Will be deleting

I’ve been using this app to plan my school assignments for a literal decade! I started using it in middle school and I’m now in my senior year of college. It was amazing! But this last update made it so unusable that I switched to a different planner app (Power Planner). With the new update, it’s incredibly difficult to manage the subjects you’re taking unless they divide into nice English, Math, Science, History labels. You can’t view a task unless you go to the calendar, which defaults to showing the day instead of the week or month, and scroll to the day where you made the task due. If you’re trying to put in deadlines from a syllabus, this means you could be scrolling for literal months just to make sure you actually created the assignment. The tasks show up on the calendar like classes, making it really difficult to tell what’s actually a class and what’s a homework assignment. It’s super confusing to even create a task to begin with! In what world does it make sense to default to the creation of a class rather than a task? It genuinely goes class -> exam -> task. That’s the opposite of the order that would make sense to use most frequently! The tabs of the old app used to give you a nice, legible dashboard that told you what tasks were coming up. Now, it’s impossible to tell what the tasks even are or when they’re due. I’m incredibly disappointed in how much they ruined this app when it’s been functioning amazingly well for years!!

Recent Update Ruined App

I have loved this app and found it to be very useful over the years. Recently there has been an update that changed the entire interface and functionality of the app. It is no longer simple and easy to use. There are many glitches that come with the new design. If this app was never updated it would easily get 5 stars but they have dug their own grave and tried to fix something that wasn’t broken. I will now be looking elsewhere for an online school planner.

Update is awful

The new update logged me out, and when I attempted to log back in, it wiped my schedule treating me as a new user

update ruined the app

shea louster on

I used this app for everything for my first two years of college, and when I heard it was getting a huge update, I was a bit nervous. Turns out this was the correct reaction to have because the update completely ruined the app. It is unusable now. It is so much harder to do literally anything and you’re constantly being prompted to buy the premium version. This app is horrid now and I would not recommend it to anybody

New interface seems worse to me

I never write reviews, but I used to LOVE this app and used it throughout most of high school and college (2016-2020) however I am trying to add in my classes currently after not using the app for a while and now there are issues that make it difficult to use. I added in one of my classes that is on Tues/Thurs and even though I input those days multiple times it is still showing up as Mon/Weds. I feel like this makes it pretty unusable and hope things like this are fixed so I can use it again. Not what it used to be :(

Very Disappointed

dinkdinktime on

I NEVER leave reviews for apps but this has me fuming. I’ve used this app for 4 years and it’s been a lifesaver, the interface was sleek and simple to get a hang of and it was free. Now imagine my surprise when I open this app to use for this upcoming semester and I am greeted with the most complicated and unappealing task management app. I tried to make use of it but gave up as it’s pretty buggy as well. As a student adjusting to change in my daily life, I don’t want to have to adjust the way I organize my tasks. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it :(

So bad after update

Some user233 on

I can’t believe it deleted my entire data of the three years I’ve been using it. It has been such a great tool for three years of college and it served me well. Now it’s just a greedy glitchy app with complicated interface and features behind paywall. Not to mention it crashes frequently. I’m moving onto something else. Thanks for screwing up such an amazing app.
