MyChildAtSchool Reviews

Excellent App

Very easy to use and well organised details

Not very well laid out or easy to navigate

Our school swapped from Satchel One to Bromcom and it’s been disappointing. Satchel One was much more user-friendly. It was well laid out, easy to navigate with great views for both parents and students. Bromcom doesn’t lay out the information in an easy-to-understand way. It’s hard to mark homework as done, there’s no timetable in the parent view and app is clunky.

Used to be better

Functionality seems to be going backward not forward!!! As a parent we now can not see past homework, missed/late homework or description of the assignment so when my child’s app doesn’t work we are unable to help

Don’t like this app, Weduc is better

Teachers can’t use it!

App is great for Parents but if the teachers (as it the case at our children’s school) can’t or won’t use it properly then it’s no use at all.

Would be useful to receive email notifications when a message has arrived into MCAS. It’s hard to recognise when a message has been read. I’ve used much easier school apps than this one that navigate easier for the user.

Not very informative

Compared to another “Leigh Academy” school, this is very basic. Can’t see homework etc

App feedback messages

The message layout makes it really difficult to find information in messages, and fiddly moving backup through them all. It would be much better if the messages can be listed by date and you select the one you want to read/ find the information you need.

It would be better if you allowed notifications on the phone when there is a new message. We can’t keep opening the app each time to check. We are missing out on important messages due to this

Terrible

Such a frustrating system I click on messages and they disappear. Would not recommend to anyone
