App doesn’t work

I had my water softener installed on 11/06/24. It’s been 2 days and the app still says last updated on 11/06/24. It says that the lid is on when it’s off and the left and right salt says 100% when I can see that is around 75%. I have tried deleting the app but it still doesn’t work.

App is useless

The filter works perfectly but the app is not working at all, I have done something like 15 attempts (always trying to follow every steps) to try and connect the lid with my App but is not working at all.

Can’t connect to device

Can’t connect to my water softener and the connection process directions in the app don’t match the hardware.

Glitchy Salt reordering from the app email is not working - can’t email direct from the app WiFi connection dropped after we updated WiFi password and in the app changing WiFi is not working. Keep getting the same error.

Dreadful

The water softener works well. However, the I lid and app are dreadful. After eventually a month of persistent phone calls I received a new I lid after the first one didn’t work when it was installed. The second one worked until the batteries died and after putting in new batteries I can’t get it to connect to my WiFi. Customer service was great when purchasing but the after sales is appalling.

Terrible experience - can't connect to app

Since buying the softener I've been unable to connect to the app. I've logged it with the salesman and installer and have waited almost 2 months with multiple queries asking when I'll be contacted to solve it. Still nothing.

Water softener is fine? - app is terrible.

Our installation engineer was fantastic, water softener is working ok, though, so would have any brand presumably. Harvey is not cheap…. This app seems to be a convenient upsell but it’s dreadful. I work in IT and have a strong background in networking so can work around most connectivity issues. This is just broken though. The app is basic, the water softener will not reliably connect to our home WiFi network - regardless of any combination of settings and protocols I’ve tried in an attempt to make it happy. It’s awful. Fortunately we know roughly how long the salt will last so can visually inspect and change as needed… as you do with any other water softener. This app is a gimmick so please don’t buy a Harvey water softener based on the promise that it’s ‘smart’. It’s not. I hope this helps somebody.

What a disappointment.

Machine is fine , lid didn’t work when originally installed. Second lid supplied, that doesn’t work either. Asked for engineer to visit but apparently they won’t come out for lid problems. I feel let down because the lid connection was the deciding factor when making the purchase. My softener is in the loft and I find access difficult. Result is I regularly run out of softened water. Not what I call customer care.
