Description

MyLifeOrganized (MLO) is the most flexible and powerful task management software for getting your to-dos finally done.

Why MLO is what you need

“This task management system helps you to target what you should be focusing on to reach your objectives” — Lifehack.

MLO leads to a new level of productivity — you can manage not only tasks but projects, habits and even life goals. Designed to strike a balance between the simple and the complex, MLO comes with optional contexts, tags, stars, flags, reminders, dates, priorities, completely customizable filters and views that make MLO flexible enough to adapt to your own system for managing your tasks. It is particularly suited for those who are truly serious about personal task management.

Once loaded with your information, MyLifeOrganized goes to work and generates a simple list containing only the next actions that require your immediate attention. This list is updated auto-magically once you complete a task, when you drive to a new location, or simply if it is dinner time.

Sync across mobile and desktop

Add even more power to your task management — use MLO Cloud service* to sync automatically with the world-class Desktop version of MyLifeOrganized**. You can sync your to-do lists with multiple devices, share a single task list, or collaborate with other people. Join the users who sync more than 65 million of their to-dos via the secure and robust MyLifeOrganized Cloud Sync Service! Unbelievably powerful for GTD

Don637 on

I’ve been a keen user of MLO for 10+ years. I recently moved away from it as I reasoned “surely these other new hot ToDo apps must be better!”. I’ve spent a long time using ToDoist, tried Motion and Amazing Marvin, but I’ve come back to MLO. Examples: I have quick “views” of my todo lists such as: - Prioritising my goals for this week, show me the next thing I have to do, for the context (eg. at home, got 15 mins free) that I’m in - For work, let me use an entirely different profile and list - and in this one, show me each of my current projects and my next action to progress each one. The key differentiator with MLO is that it provides all these tools - filters, working time, contexts, dependencies, start dates - to hide the tasks that *aren’t* actionable, so as to direct your focus onto the ones that *are*. So you spend less time planning, more time doing. Once you’ve done one, the next actionable task appears - in the right place at the right time. Also, as the development team are in Ukraine, I’m happy to do my bit supporting their economy a tiny bit. The app is so satisfying to use that I prefer it over the desktop app. The downsides: it doesn’t support some modern app design paradigms, like inline tag/date parsing, API integrations, automatic scheduling, or two-way calendar sync. It also doesn’t support Mac or Web. Nonetheless - the fact is, with this, I get things done. Which is a key requirement of a productivity app.

Best GTD I used

Best organisational App

Very intuitive. Easy to use. I cannot highly recommend this app enough. It has changed my working life.

Great depth and flexibility

This is the best task or to do app out there. Allows you to bring lots of structure to your tasks, if that's what you like, or simple task lists. But the best is you can mix both styles in the one place.

Why choose other task planner app when you have MLO?!

Victor Zotov on

One day I asked my CEO friend if he tried some planning apps. He said: “Why do you need all this startup apps when you can use MLO?!” I tried many other productivity apps and can assure you that there are no any real competitors to MLO. In MLO you can set up everything just as you need. It has simple yet powerful configuration options for GTD, Agile results or any other system you can think of. With the all new features on iOS I can add the reminder when I am on workout using Siri and have it on my Mac in seconds when I am back at my computer. New version of MLO is iOS 13 shortcuts ready. You can add tasks quickly from home screen, or your watches. The only thing I would like to be added is better Timezones options.

My knowledge base

Mayathebee0 on

I’ve been using MLO for many years, and find the tree structure most useful for storing key knowledge or notes on thing I want to remember. It’s helped lower anxiety as I know the knowledge is safe and easily accessible. Workspaces don’t work... when I change the profile to another one, all the workspaces then point to the same profile, instead to what I configured them for.

Excellent

no one beats MLO

James Corteciano on

I have been using since 2016, and still so far nothing comes close after I have tried others. There are some things for my preference but hey, it still satisfy my basic needs.

Better than OmniFocus

Maxsado on

I have been using this more than 10 yrs since I was only available on PC. It is the best kind of GTD soft, support all platform and has very powerful features of you want to use it. Hope it can work with iOS shortcut app.

Great todo app!

issiadilla on

Great todo app with extensive configuration options and cross platform support. Having had extensive experience with the product over many years, I can vouch for the support and long term aspirations of this company. My only criticism is that the product is not available as a Windows universal app. This would allow it to run on devices with screens from mobile to tablet to desktop. My current workaround for this is to manage my work through MLO running on my laptop. I then sync with Outlook which builds a series of Outlook tasks (this can a filtered list of tasks but takes some setup and planning. With a set of Outlook tasks I can then run Microsoft Todo on my other mobile devices. It works but is not as fluid as having a Windows app, and does not automatically rebuild a context based todo list.
