MyMazda Reviews

Remote locking is clutch

Mktgmert on

United States

I use the app most often to lock the doors. Also handy are other status alerts and the map for seeing where it’s parked.

Amazed

I really like this app I wish it had the ability to check my tire pressure though so I know the levels of each tire just for safety

App is constantly crashing or not working when you need.

Don’t use it often, but when I need it to remote start it gets stuck loading on the login page.

Basic Free Features I’ve Had On My Mazda For 3 Years Now $10/Month Subscription

Kevinffh on

United States

I purchased my 2021 Mazda CX 30 at the end of 2020 and was amazed and in awe of all the features. The sync abilities, especially the ability to remote start, unlock, and find by gps from the app was one of the unique selling points I considered before buying. I did not purchase the remote start key fob because of this reason. Now, that ability has recently been taken away with no warning. For the same features I’ve had for 3 years now, 2021-2024, I am supposed to pay for a $10/month subscription. It’s disgusting for a company to make their customers pay for a service they’ve been receiving for free and with no warning or consideration into the affected customers.

Somewhat useful - should be free.

These features should be free. I honestly don’t understand what Mazda is thinking. Love the cars; the app is only ok. I can never figure out how to switch between cars - have to kill the app each time. Way too many steps to get into messages to clear notifications. Not enough functional features - on cars with remote start, should be able to set the climate control and turn on seat warmers.

Unstable App With Subscription

Bob’sYourUncle on

United States

Worked semi-reliably while it was free then went to a $10 monthly fee and stopped working. Best use was lock/unlock and maintenance reminders. I mean I can do that without the app it was convenient from phone but not worth a subscription. Maybe if it included music streaming and a working integrated nav system. It’s funny that the dealership never could get the onboard nav system to work and said just use my phone. Sorry Mazda you made great vehicles in the past but seems like you’ve fallen …

Basic app, no great

RPM515000 on

United States

The app just does the basics like remote start but you can’t control other features like heat/cool. Plus it takes a long time to update on status of the car. My wife has a new Hyundai and their app is far superior with much more control of the vehicle. Also, Mazda wants to charge a subscription for the remote app start access after a free year, so frustrating, definitely not paying.

Very disappointed

lkhfop on

I recently got a new cx90 PHEV and initially Loved it. Then the recalls started and after having my car for 4 days I can no Longer use remote climate control . With freezing temps and my car where I can’t see it I’m the mornings the app no longer works after the updates for the recalls. Called the dealer they say it’s the app people. I keep trying to calm and just sit on hold. After three Mazdas I loved I def won’t be buying another one.
