Horrendous performance

You would think they would have improved when fmg bought them. Instead it’s a dated app with horrible service. But fmg pays off the broker dealers to be the preferred vendor. So we are stuck with a garbage app

Glitchy notifications

I am required to use MyRepChat for compliant texting. While the app is rather glitchy and many of the features accessible via desktop are missing from the app, the app serves its intended purpose. The most frustrating glitch is that I have a number of perpetual “ghost notifications” indicating unread messages despite all of my messages having been read. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to clear the notifications. I know other MRC users experiencing the same problem. This glitch requires me to remember the number of ghost notifications that always appear in the red dot on the app. Then, when the notification figure exceeds the number of ghost notifications, I know that I’ve actually received a text message.

Necessary evil in over regulated industry

I can attest to what most other reviewers are saying. It serves a compliance purpose, but it is rough in terms of usability. Constantly buggy and just not great user experience. At $180 per year cost, one would hope that money would go toward improving user experience, but with every sporadic update performance stays the same, but hey they updated the icons!! Yay 😕

It has a badge notification icon that won't go away. So I turned off badges and missed an important text. That's just the latest issue. Seems like an app from 15 years ago. I would never use it if compliance did not require it.

If this wasn’t required by my industry, I would never, EVER use this app. Truly one of the worst apps. Tech glitches all the time, UI is awful, and good luck getting your contacts to show up without duplicating or triplicating on their own. If you have a choice, don’t go with this app.

It’s buggy

This app has annoying bugs and has for years. Latest is a persistent notification icon when there is no new messages. Even uninstalled and not logged in, it still shows the new message icon. Unknown callers create new contacts clogging my CRM.

Did the client see the message? Well ya never know. From constant disclosures being sent to clients not seeing messages, this app remains a debacle. Guess they have no competition.

Dealing with spam difficult

App should be re-engineered to make user interface easier to block spam calls. You must go through five steps to block a call currently.

Inconsistent

App doesn’t work correctly, efficiently or consistently. You are constantly told that they appreciate your patience and commitment to customer service yet the problems are never resolved the problems on these reviews previously listed are still occurring years later
