Good work outs, glitchy app
The app is extremely glitchy. Won’t save health information, exercises won’t save and often freeze. Horrible music with exercises. If you can get over that, it does have good information and good work outs.

The app idea over all is very nice. Women need pelvic floor rehab post partum for sure. And Dr. pinkey patel is really awesome! I did love her workouts, However , the app keeps on freezing , and for me the exercises were stuck at 2 weeks and 7 days for about a week and a half. Also , canceling the subscription is not easy. The app and support team could have been faster with their replies.
I first used Myri after my endometriosis excision surgery in 2020 when in person pelvic floor PT was limited. It helped me get back to my workout routine fairly quickly without feeling like I was starting from scratch again. Fast forward to November 2022, I started using the app after having my first baby via c-section. It was super helpful in aiding my recovery and feeling confident to gradually increase my workout routine. I even followed up with my Pelvic Floor PT who was highly impressed with my progress 2 months postpartum all because of the foundations laid out by Myri!
Do not get this app — I was told it was great for post partum recovery so I paid the $40 subscription and it never works! Every time I open the app it’s been buffering for 15+ mins and if you are a new mom you know you don’t have time to wait when you do have a little spare time to workout. I thought it was my internet but all my other apps open and work fine/immediately. I only got to use my subscription 3x because the buffering period was always too long and so I ended up canceling it after a month. Such a waste of money!
I am so glad I had this app postpartum! It’s crazy to me the lack of awareness and resources around pelvic floor health and recovery postpartum. Fitness and wellness has always been a big part of my life, so I knew when I got pregnant that I wanted to make sure that I was doing what I could to prevent pelvic floor/core issues that might arise later. This app was a one stop shop! The exercises were easy to follow and there were so many different things included to help with that postpartum period. You won’t regret getting this!
A downloaded this app when I was pregnant with my second LO. It changed my postpartum healing for the better. The guidance, the attention to detail, the community, it was just amazing! I wish I had this as a first time Mom, but better late than never! Thank you Dr Pinkey Patel!
I was super excited about this app (particularly because looking up videos on Google/YouTube can be time consuming and I often question the reliability/safety of some of the postpartum workout plans online..) but this app leaves a lot to be desired. For someone who is pretty fit and worked out regularly up until the day of delivery, I wish the workouts were customizable so I could access all of the videos and choose which day’s exercise my body was ready for or do more than one exercise. I’ve been doing 10-20min of deep breathing daily since pp day 4, so the fact that today’s workout was just 4 minutes of more deep breathing was disappointing. I wanted to access the videos for week 3, but the app only lets you view the recommended exercise for that day. I also tried updating my preferences from 4 to 7 days of exercises, but unfortunately the app does not refresh with a workout plan once you’ve already entered your preference. Overall it’s a great concept but could be so much better. Until the kinks are worked out, if you were fairly fit before delivery, I would recommend using Robin’s postpartum strength classes on the Peloton app in addition to daily deep breathing sessions and short walks as tolerated.
As a mom of 2 and physician - let me tell you: no one tells you how hard it is to deal with pelvic floor and core weakness. Not even my Obgyn! I worked out plenty and thought I’d be fine - but I was far from it. After my second baby was born, my muscles became so unsynchronized, my back arched, my hips internally rotated, and I struggled with back pain. And yes - all those muscles attach to your pelvis! Who knew it all stemmed from poor recovery after my first child 4 years ago! I Finally started PT and the therapist I’m working with knows and learned from this app! She encouraged me to use it and also tells other patients to use it before, during, and after pregnancy. Something (again) no one tells you! As someone who just wanted to jump back in - this app taught me it’s okay to just breath as a work out - be patient. Truly the best thing I did to retrain my core. What’s also great is you can tell Pinky just wants you to feel strong - which is why the free version even has sooo much content! Women supporting women - it’s awesome! Thanks so much for what you do! I’ve been telling all my patients to do this in pregnancy so they have smoother deliveries and recovery!
I'm a big believer in working out and being the healthiest you. I was so excited to start this app that I downloaded way before I delivered. I am now 7 weeks postpartum and recently had my wellness check with my doctor and my doctor said she was surprised how quickly I healed. It's all due to Pinky and her daily workouts/exercises. I love reading the weekly updates and to know I am not alone in what I'm feeling is great! I also enjoy that you can document all you little ones diapers, feedings and your pumping all in one place. It is so handy when you go to the pediatrician's office and they ask for the run down. People have asked what they recommend for pregnancy and I always mention this app. Definitely worth it!
I had a c section and reached out to Dr. Pinkey over Instagram. I used her workouts for 6 weeks and although they seemed easy at first, I realized week 2 why I was doing them. Just lifting my leg up and down hurt. I realized I needed to really work on my core. SnapBack helped me reach my goal. I highly recommend using this app before starting any workout postpartum. Heal your body and take your time.
