Description
myTracks turns your iPhone or Apple Watch into a fully functional GPS logger. The GPS recordings can be displayed on different maps, which are also available without an internet connection if required. During a recording you can place and name waypoints to mark important locations. In addition to the waypoints, you can also take photos in myTracks, which are then assigned directly to the GPS track. The GPS tracks are stored exclusively on your iPhone, which means you don't have to register or log in anywhere. If you want, you can sync all your GPS tracks between your devices (iOS and macOS) via iCloud.
You can start and stop GPS recordings individually or use the energy-saving diary mode, where myTracks automatically creates a single track with the most important positions for each day. You can conveniently manage the GPS tracks in the track library. From there you can export the tracks or the associated photos, e.g. by e-mail and publish them on social networks.
The integrated Apple Watch app shows information about the current GPS recording. This includes the start time, distance covered, current, minimum and maximum altitude and the current map section. The GPS recording of the iPhone can be started and stopped via the Apple Watch and waypoints can be added. Since myTracks 5 you can also record directly with the Apple Watch.

super tracker
apple watch start stop, ansicht im iphone/ipad, daten in der icloud zum auslesen und weiterverarbeiten, geringer stromverbrauch.
Gute App - Statistik etwas dürftig
Funktioniert 1a. Präzise, auch bei Export. - Einzig die Statistik-Funktionen sind trotz Aufpreis dürftig: Durchschnittliche Geschwindigkeit wäre nett, ebenso genauere Darstellung der Graphen (Raster, Zoom, …)
Funktioniert nicht
Während dem Aufstarten stürzt die App unter 13.6.1 (iPAD) ab. Schade war längere Zeit sehr zu frieden, mekr aber, dass sich die Stabilität von Update zu Uptade massiv verschlechter. Schade, dass ich nun alle Aufzeichnungen verloren habe.
Tolle App
Die Fehler die zu einer schlechten Bewertung vor einem Jahr geführt haben sind korrigiert. Keine Abstürze mehr, Trackaufzeichnung und GPX-Export funktioniert. Sync mit iCloud und Desktop-App ist so einfach. Kartenkauf für Offline-Karten ist ebenfalls so einfach zu bedienen. Vielleicht kommen später auch noch weitere Karten wie Wanderkarten, MTB-Karten, Topo-Karten dazu. Wirklich toll

Toll gemachtes Programm , leider funktioniert die App auf der Apple Watch nicht.

Noch nichts besseres gefunden
Das beste ist die Integration mit iCloud, so dass der Datenaustausch mit anderen Geräten (Mac) möglich ist. Leider ist dies versteckt in einer eigenen Datenbankform. So bleiben die eigentlichen GPX-Dateien nicht direkt verwendbar, sondern erst über einen Export. Leider fehlt eine Such- oder Filterfunktion, auch auf dem Mac. Dafür würde ich gerne nochmals etwas zahlen. Ansonsten ist die Funktionalität vergleichbar mit anderen GPS-Apps. V.a. fehlt z.B. das offizielle Kartenmaterial von SwissTopo. So ist myTracks momentan Ergänzung zu SchweizMobil.
Tolle und genaue App
Die ehemals gute Bewertung muss ich widerrufen. Das Tracken funktioniert plötzlich nicht mehr. Kein einziger Punkt gespeichert. Am Ende des Tages merkt man dann, dass man für 300 Fotos die Koordinaten selbst heraussuchen kann. Und natürlich weiss man nicht mehr für alle die genauen Daten - also für die Katz. Bitte wenigstens eine Fehlermeldung einbauen!!!
Geht nicht ohne mobile Daten
Die App zeichnet nicht auf, wenn 'mobile Daten' ausgeschalten ist, was im Ausland zu empfehlen ist. Das heisst, im Ausland für mich nicht zu gebrauchen.
