MyWhoosh FAQ

Yes, MyWhoosh is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is MyWhoosh legit?
🤔 The MyWhoosh app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
What in the world happened. I used to be able to add training plans based on disciple to calendar. Now you can’t. There VERY disappointing. Why add all the non sense useless GUI stuff and break what matters?? I don’t care how the icons look if I can’t add a training plan it’s garbage
Crashes on opening - Mac M1 laptop
Haven’t been able to use app as. It crashes every time I open it. App opens to front page, I select the profile and then the 1st popup say “server error can’t connect” then few seconds later, 2nd popup “not enough storage to download worlds” yeah I have over 500gigs on my laptop so not accurate.
I’m running Apple M1 Pro chip with 16GB memory and also updated to the latest macOS. I’m unsure way this is happening but would love to test it out on my Mac as it works on my iPhone, which leads me to believe there seems to be some issue the macOS app.
Happy redo this review once this issue is sorted.
Unusable
Unfortunately, I am unable to keep the app open more than a minute or two. I have a 9th gen iPad with the latest iPadOS. My other issue is you cannot paste in the password field when logging in, and BitWarden cannot fill in the field either.
Doesn’t work on iPads
Can y’all please fix the bug that causes the app to crash on my iPad.
Loving it lately…
I’ve used Zwift on and off since ‘15, but this winter I’m Whooshing it. I try different apps all the time, and have used Mywhoosh before, but they have improved a lot lately. It is stable and looks pretty good on my iphone SE (HDMI to a cheap TV) . The newer Windows version is stable as well now, and I use that a lot too. Workouts are great, and I will run a training plan this winter. Racing is less active than Zwift, but I burned out on Zwift racing anyway, and the ‘social’ rides are default races if you want to try them. I actually like the fact that there are fewer riders TBH. More varied ‘worlds’, lots of nice climbs. A bit of a memory hog but that’s OK by me—it’s free. For now anyway. I don’t spend any real money on in-game upgrades, but I’m saving up virtual coins for my yellow Colnago…. Hats off to the devs. Sync the avatar cadence better (especially climbing) and enable keyboard initiated view changes, a quick look behind key, and that’s about it…zwift play compatibility would be great but not expecting that. See you out there in the sands.
No progress saving
Once you hit level 8 it will revert you back to level 8 every time you open the app. Also you can’t earn coins once you hit level 8 (you hit it quickly). With no way to earn coins (stuck at 14,755), you have to pay real money in order to upgrade any of your equipment. Only free biking app, but with no progress tracking and no way to progress in game without paying money, there’s no reason to ever download this app
Great idea failure at implementation
Download this app three days ago. Completed two rides and 16 attempts. Including tonight where they crash six times and I only was able to accomplish. 17 minutes worth of riding. Go back to the drawing board please. The software is so unstable that it locked up, and crashed a MacBook Pro with 32Gb of ram. This software is the epitome of failure.
Works terrible with Apple TV, get Zwift instead
Every time I try connect I spend over twenty minutes just trying to get the app connected, on Zwift I could have taken part in a race in that time.
The maps seem good, but if you want to change direction the controls get jammed up.
There is no point in community with whoosh, because I am unable to type on the chat otherwise it freezes up the controls and I need to reset. The conversation from other people seems rather lame one word things, on Zwift I could talk and the companion app does not freeze.
I honestly dislike my experience with this app and will rather spend stupid money with Zwift. I hope UCI goes back to Zwift soon, terrible move on their part.
Every ride ends in a crash
I used to love this app, but stability has been getting worse lately. 3.9 is almost unusable. It may be time to check out the competition.
Random Crashes
Not worth if you always loose your progress half way through.
