Reiterating the comments made by other reviewers. The features that made the old version easy to use are gone. This version is not user friendly. Not easy to check running times. I can’t view multiple trains/times. This app seems to be for people who have plenty of time and not commuters rushing for a train and who just want a simple overview of what’s running and what’s not. Bring back the old version please.

The previous app (up to mid 2024) looked a bit outdated but functionally was perfect. It allowed me to easily find trains to take, plan alternative routes, work out when/where to coordinate journeys with friends, know when kids were arriving back late. This version strips much of that functionality out and gives you a very limited and clunky view on the network. It seems essentially just an effort to sell tickets rather than help you plan or track journeys.

The Nat Rail App was excellent for route planning with live updates on train running until it shifted emphasis to sales. It’s all about selling you tickets now and lost its’ usefulness.

please revert back to previous version ( or previous two version) that can calculate multiple journeys

The modification of new app clearly didn’t go through rigorous testing phase. The older app was simple and worked perfectly, it loads easily and gives the info needed. The new app hangs a lot, sometimes doesn’t even start up on opening. You have to close it and re-open again (multiple times on occasions). Then when typing the stations, sometimes it gets stuck. Poorly designed, released in hurry, please go back to older version.

I have used this app for years, then one day I opened it and it mysteriously to minutes to open. It looked different, so assumed an auto update happened. It was clunky and slow. Since that one use it doesn’t even open. Just sits on the logo screen. Removed and reinstalled. Still does not open. Deleting app and going elsewhere!

The previous version of this app was years old but it worked and gave you everything you needed. This new version looks cleaner but every decision beyond that is wrong. Default view is “live trains” instead of “Journey planner” and there’s no way to personalise it and it doesn’t remember the previous view. Plan a journey and you’re forced to select (or deselect” a “travel via” station that is a scarcely useful feature. It’s clean looking but it’s just a horrible mess to use. Developers, go back to the old version please until you know what you’re doing!

Next to useless since the last major update. I don’t know what they have done but the app really is useless these days

This app is TOO SLOW, it’s just not working

The new app is a big step backwards from the old one. It takes ages to load and then using it is far more complicated than the old one. Funky new design and graphics doesn’t make up for poor core functioning. At least give us the option to continue to use the old one.
