I would not choose this NBA game. There are way better NBA games. The mechanics in this game are terrible compared to any other nba 2k type games. The graphics are good to be fair though. The whole game feels like a money grab. They make sure that even if you have players that are twice as good as the computer’s players, the computer’s players still have a way way better percentage in shots. Even to the extent that if you shoot open shots with good three point shooters, you will have a WORSE percentage shot than the computer’s random role player shooting contested three pointers. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s impossible to win some games because of this. High rated players even miss open layups while the computer’s players are shooting circus shots and hitting nearly everything. Other times the computer’s players play horribly and you win by 40. It’s really really unrealistic and just a waste of time to play to be honest. Really disappointed considering that the graphics are actually good. I’d recommend NBA live over this, even though they don’t have all of the NBA players and the dribble moves are limited. NBA Infinite is also better, even though the guarding mechanic is a bit odd, but still much better than this weird rigged game. The game plays pretty poorly overall. For example the players pick up their dribble after very little pressure, and for no reason, the inbounder takes way too long to pass the ball, and the biggest issue of all, the CPU (Computer player) is extremely inconsistent. Some games the CPU can’t hit a single shot and you win by 40 points and other games the whole CPU team turns into the 96’ Bulls.
