The Nanolux cloud control system was designed and engineered to provide a complete solution for the control of the lighting and environmental controls of a grow room. The NCCS system allows for precisian control of all devices in a grow room through its simple and intuitive computer software program. At the heart of the NCCS is a software program which allows you to specify all of the parameters of your lighting and environmental control settings in your room. The program is then downloaded from your computer to the DTU {data transfer unit). The DTU is the brain of the system and communicates and controls all of the selected functions in the grow room through wireless modem communication. The DTU controls lighting ballasts and environmental control devices by communicating wire/essly with individual RTU {remote terminal unit) USB devices. The NCCS system currently allows for precisian control of your lighting system with dimming, multiple lighting areas, high-temperature dimming features along with fan control. The NCCS will be adding C02 functions, humidity and temperature control, pH and nutrient control, pump control and remote camera features in the near future.

The app is a little bit clunky but it works great for controlling my lights. I have 40 lights in my flower room and another 40 in my veg and have not had any issues for the past year and a half. It didn’t want to connect to my Android but now that I switched over to my iPhone everything is working seamlessly. I would recommend this app🙂
👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
I was pretty pumped about setting this up. Turns out , it was a bunch of hype. Been trying to set this up for 2 days. Snags everywhere in the process . Tech support .. non-existent. I’ve called them over a dozen times and it goes to voice mail. Ended up up wiring in a regular freakin timer. Definitely wouldn’t pay for a subscription, when you can’t even get someone on the phone.
Works on Bluetooth
This app as a light control app works on Bluetooth but no so much (or at all) on WiFi. The rename the lights tool does not keep the names of the lights you give them, it reverts back to the rtu number which makes it impossible to control individual lights unless you know each rtu’s number that is plugged into each light. Kinda ridiculous for how much you pay for this subscription. Kinks certainly need to be worked out.
Works great
I have no issues with the hardware or the software, I use it in my 8 light flower room and have yet to have an issue in the past 2 years. I don’t use it remote though, I just use it via Bluetooth. The app itself is a little clunky and could use some updating but overall I find it very useful.
Won’t even connect via Bluetooth
Doesn’t work, very cheaply made plastic on hardware. Terrible product!
So displeased
All the features it says it has would be amazing, if they worked. Can’t do anything if not connected to Bluetooth and none of the renaming options actually work. Keep getting a “group does not exist” warning. Not to mention there’s a MASSIVE design flaw with the entire system. Something in my grow room is interfering with the communication and lights randomly turn on. Had to stop using RTUs in my bloom rooms and go hardwire. So much for remote access. HIGHLY recommend staying away from this system.
Latest update no good.
After the latest update i cannot save setting keeps saying fialed try again.
Horrible!!!
Just awful. The brain needs two temp probes. I have to buy two brains. Never connects. Where are the other features, an app update maybe more than once a year. We've all be duped.
App works, but has some serious limitations
The app is a great first step, and it has a lot of great features, but it overlooks some seriously basic conveniences that could go a long way to improve its functionality. My biggest complaint is that you are unable to provide any sort of custom naming or labels for either groups, and more important rtu's. rtu's are currently labeled with the code number they have printed on them when you buy them. How each of those barcode numbers corresponds to each ballast is random and needs an additional coordination outside of the app. By allowing for a custom tag or title to be applied to rtu's in the app, it would allow easy identification if which rtu's to adjust for any personal adjustments. For instance if you have your lights numbered 1-10 in your room based on placement you could label each rtu 1-10 as well and know exactly which light corresponded with each rtu if you ever needed to isolate a single lights control. Same thing with groups. It would be nice to be able to rename groups with custom names like veg or flower, or off. Whatever. These are simple fixes that can go a long way to greatly improving functionality of the app.
Horrible
I wish I could give zero stars. It's a joke that a major manufacturer would roll out a cloud control system that so obviously doesn't work at all. Lol. Steer clear.
