Täydellinen tunnistus suomenkielisistä harakanvarpaista
Näen tässä ohjelmassa paljon hyvää, mutta toiminnallisuudet ovat ehkä hieman kevyitä tarpeeseeni.
Perfect shape not working
Used to be an excellent app (*****) and I previously made good use of it in drawing sketchs and writing math. However, the new perfect shape feature does not work as intended, and causes dropping a couple of stars - and perhaps me to abandon the app. The drawn lines, even very irregular and inclined ones, occasionally turn into horizontal straight lines even when I don't hold the (Apple) pen down after drawing. Moreover, the non-intended 'perfect' line sometimes moves from its original position to the position where I touch the screen next time. This makes working with the app quite awkward since I have to press undo all the time to cancel the unwanted conversions. At the least, please make this feature optional in settings. M. Arkku
Keeps crashing!
It began to crash after a few minutes of usage!!
Works with several languagues
I chose Nebo because it recognizes several languages (English, German and Finnish at least). However, some handwritten letters seem to be ”too much” for the software: my capital B vanishes all the time from handwritten notes, be it converting to text or freeform page. I have tried several different styles to write it, but letter B keeps on vanishing. The only way to write so that it does not vanish and the software recognizes it as letter B, seems to be ”gradma style letter B from 1920s”. This is actually so annoying that I decided to write feedback. The same happens every now and then with aw- combination. Otherwise I like the software and it fits to my purposes.
Nice app
The interface is very pleasing and everything runs smoothly. The recently added pdf import function makes the app a plus. However, sometimes a glitch makes the pdf jump back to page 1 and it is pretty annoying. Is it possible to add a bookmark feature to avoid this?
Ruler and shapes for sketching

Not worth it
The fact that this app forces an x for multiplication between two bracketed expressions is atrocious. Moreover, the promotional material gave me the impression that this app would let me write formulae in regular sentences, but this is a blatant lie. Moreover, the lack of attention to detail is highly obvious: for instance, it is impossible to write differential d's without italics. It is far easier to input formulae that are less of an eyesore with iPad native apps.
The one I use most
Out of all my writing apps, it's the one that feels smoother to write with, and the one that recognizes my terrible writing best, but as always, there are a few things that would make it even better. 1) It beeps disconnecting from icloud. 2) More ink and pen options, and last, but not least, 3)More menu options than just copy and convert. For example, being able to export text to other apps per selected text, instead of only per page. It can copy that text, and paste it, but it's a few extra steps, and the app would be capable of it, if only it was the entire page. And a quicknotes option would be very handy!
Paras ja parani päivityksen myötä
Ohjelma on todella kätevä esim. muistiinpanojen tekemiseen ja vapaaseen kirjoittamiseen, jos on tottunut kirjoittamaan käsin. Käsialalla ei ole väliä. Tunnistaa vaikeuksitta käsinkirjoitettua suomea ja isoa valikoimaa muitakin kieliä (yksi kieli dokumenttia kohden). iPad Minin kanssa tuo mieleen vanhan kunnon Newtonin mutta paljon parempana. Vain joidenkin epäsäännönmukaisten sanojen/kirjainyhdistelmien kanssa on ollut vaikeuksia. Päivityksen myötä on mahdollisuus vaihtaa välillä näppikseen, jolloin toisen kielen sanat tai sanat/lyhenteet yms. saa helposti mukaan. Toiminto on todella kätevä: voi joko siirtää kursorin haluttuun paikkaan tai valita vaikka kokonaisen (käsinkirjoitetun) sanan korvattavaksi. Vaihto käsinkirjoituksesta näppikseen ja takaisin on mutkatonta ja intuitiivista. Kunpa Apple ostaisi softan ja tekisi siitä iOS:n osan!
