This is an excellent app. I’ve been using it for about 2 years, but as the annual price has now doubled, it has to go to the ‘I can’t afford it pile’. I’ve reluctantly unsubscribed. I have just received an email from Apple saying that you have not doubled your price, only increased it…I have taken a screenshot of the new prices and the cost HAS doubled. I’ve forwarded the photo to Apple, to prove my point.
That’s all well and good but if it doesn’t work it’s still not worth it. I’ve got 2 more examples where it doesn’t work and can send them to you if you think you are improving things daily.
Tested a lot of apps from App Store, this is the best free one by far. It’s just simple and easy to use. But the music to midi feature doesn’t work for drum sheets, it returned my drum music sheets to piano midi which is just funny😂😂 I hope they can add midi for other instruments.

This is a fantastic app which meets all my needs. However, this latest update seems to have a problem with Airdrop sharing, it won’t recognize any nearby users. I checked the systems bluetooth and it did recognize others, so the problem appears to lie with Newzik.
This is the best sheet music reader app out there. The latest update extends the function to include tempo / pitch change of media playback, as well as scanning to import music, which works very well. Newzik realises the full potential and capabilities of the iPad as a digital sheet music reader, in a very elegant package. Highly recommend.
I have tried several music reading apps., but this is streets ahead of others I have tried, and is worth every cent. The app. is logically and intuitively structured and easy to understand. The big plus for me is that it synchronises in the server’s cloud, and thus all your pieces are stored off-site and are accessible on all your devices, including your annotations. It easily imports files from Dropbox and iCloud, can import XML files. A simple Performance Mode button locks out accidental opening of tool menus when playing the music. This can quickly be turned off. I would definitely recommend this app. to musicians of all abilities.
